Deb Matlock calls the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, U.S.A. her life-long home, one rooted in the local rivers, mountains, and animals. Deb has been a Nature-Based Spiritual Arts Practitioner and Environmental Educator for over 25 years. Deb currently teaches in the Environmental Education program at Prescott College, as well, Deb is a coach and workshop organizer who facilitates animal communication, shamanic style journeys, and nature connection through her spiritual guidance practice, Wild Rhythms. Deb is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Education from Antioch University of New England. We discuss Deb's work with students, clients, and the more-than-human world, as well as, emerging concerns of diversity in education, spirituality, and the rising thirst for nature connection around the world.
