MIB Agents Osteosarcoma Webinar Series: Tonya Osborne-Simpson and Nicole Gross of Amputee Coalition share programs and resources and discuss the partnership with MIB Agents.
*Tonya Osborne-Simpson, Director of Support & Outreach and Certified Master Trainer oversees the Peer Support department and the National Limb Loss Resource Center.
*Nicole Gross is the Peer Support Programs Manager. Nicole joined the Amputee Coalition in January 2018 with both personal and professional experience in supporting the limb loss and limb difference community as a former adaptive swim and para-triathlon coach and 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing survivor. After her traumatic above knee amputation, Nicole’s sister and Mom became Certified Peer Visitors to help others along their journey. As Peer Support Programs Manager, Nicole oversees the Amputee Coalition’s nationally recognized Certified Peer Visitor Program, Support Group Network, and Hospital Partnership Program. She is a former University of Tennessee Lady Vol Swimmer and has competed in the Ironman World Championships.
