Brothers and sisters, today’s topic of Treasures for the Soul is “What is true faith?”

In Hebrews 11:6, it reads, “And without faith it is impossible to please him.” True faith is more than intellectual understanding. It is reliant on the heart. The Bible frequently uses “take refuge” and “trust in the Lord”. It is not merely to believe. “Take refuge” and “trust” implies obedience to God’s words. The Lord once came. The Holy Spirit has also come. A new era has begun! This is a glorious day because the Father, the Lord and the Holy Spirit abide in us. This indwelling is not static. It is God’s most special presence. We are united to Him and our life is bound up with His. Indeed, it is the enormous grace from God.
