Play • 24 min

At the start of the year, Kerin John made a new year's resolution to support more black-owned businesses. But she struggled to find resources to help her identify them, especially locally owned businesses. So Kerin started the Instagram account @BlackOwned.TO and has seen the popularity skyrocket to over 50,000 followers in a few months.

In this episode, Kerin talks about the reaction to the account and where she hopes to take it next.
