Today’s guest is Roderick van der Lee, one of the founders of UNSEEN Amsterdam, a contemporary photography fair praised by the Guardian - amongst many others - as “the best loved of them all, known both for it's intimacy and strong curatorial agenda.” After curating for other international fairs he is back this year to direct the 9th edition of UNSEEN.

Before founding UNSEEN, Roderick went to business school, studied art history, and learned the tricks of the trade at auction house Christie's in London and Amsterdam’s well-known photography museum FOAM.

Today he will give us insight into the fascinating industry, tell us what it’s like to curate for such a dynamic art field - and answer some of the questions people ask him most.
