We talk to Kadir van Lohuizen, an award-winning photojournalist and filmmaker. 📹💥Kadir has been travelling the world for his esteemed documentary projects since he was 25. Through his lens, he brings the toughest societal issues to light, from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to the waste management problem in Tokyo, New York and other megacities.
Kadir talks us through his unique journey, which started with a rejection letter from a university photography degree, and led him to travel through the most breathtaking, dangerous, and untouched spots of the earth with his camera. He also addresses the future of journalism, and how the industry has been affected since Trump’s election in 2016.
