Partnerships: Can we Make a Better Future Together? | Featuring Meghna Ramaswamy | A Thrivable Future: Episode 13
Partnerships are what underpin efforts to be more sustainable.
Whether between countries, businesses, communities, or individuals, helping one another with the issues that affect our lives can ensure every single one of us can reach our full potential.
Today, we speak to Dr. Meghna Ramaswamy, the Research and Partnerships Director of the University of Saskatchewan’s International Office. Based in Canada, she leads a team of international research and partnership specialists to support international activities for faculty, staff, and students. She is also deeply involved in promoting sustainable research and partnerships, and is a passionate advocate for the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 17 - forming partnerships for the goals.
We discuss the need to make and strengthen our global partnerships to achieve sustainable development, why they are important, and how we can make sure they best assist the people who need support the most. If we work together, we can make a thrivable future, where we all live in harmony with nature (and each other). (40 mins)
