In the blog, Marshella shares her story as the mother of a micro-preemie born at 26 weeks and gives hope to other mothers who may have a similar experience. Originally from Oxford, NC, Marshella now lives in Tampa, FL with her husband Jeff, and four-year-old son Emerson.  

Marshella works as a Human Resources professional with experience in Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development. Leveraging her work experience in Higher Education, she made the transition to corporate university recruiting in 2016. From there, she has had the opportunity to recruit top talent for one of the world’s largest healthcare companies. Currently, she focuses on Learning and Development for Talent Acquisition.   

In this episode, Marshella talks about the unpredictable nature of parenting, giving up control, living in the moment, and self-care.
