Making Art and the Importance of Showing Up
A Wyoming transplant since 2004, Alisha Isaacson is a painter, mixed media, and fiber artist specializing in high contrast space-themed art featuring vibrant, saturated color, Natural elements, and graphic lines. A lifelong outdoor enthusiast and gardener, she frequently features floral themes and natural landscapes along with cosmic backgrounds and psychedelic elements to touch on ideas of life, faith, what lies beyond our perception and existence, and how they all are connected. Alisha is inspired by silliness, campfires, Illuminated manuscripts, neon lights, wool, the moon, and pasta. She seeks to make religious art without the religion.
