Episode 16: Welcome back to the pub.  For this month's episode, we've got artist and author Kerstin Espinosa Rosero, whose debut novel Burn Red Skies is currently a finalist for SPFBO. She's with us to dig into the nitty gritty of elemental magic systems while sipping some earthy sencha tea.

Here's what Kerstin thinks you should be checking out right now.

Indie: THE IRON CROWN by L.L. MacRae, SEASONS OF ALBADONE by  Élan Marché, LEGENDS AND LATTES by Travis Baldree, and all the other SPFBO finalists.

Everything Else: ARCANE on Netflix.

You can get her book anywhere books are sold.

Our Drink for this episode is Sencha Tea, the most popular of Japanese green teas.

Tea is a very personal thing but here's a suggested method of preparation.

-Add 1tsp of tea to your teapot for each cup of tea you will make.

-Add near-boiling water to each cup and let it cool for 2 minutes then pour the cooled water into the pot.

-Let the leaves steep for 1-2 minutes then serve.
