The "Between the Lines" Podcast by Commutifi In 2019, global emissions hit an all-time high and projections put us at a terrifying high line of 3.5 degree temperature rise by the end of the century. But the global pandemic may have been a turning point. New green recovery policies have the potential to decrease our 2030 emissions by 25% and put us on a new line that limits temperature rise to that critical 2 degrees. But what does the journey Between the Lines look like? Achieving these goals will require innovative solutions in every sector of our economy, but none may be more challenging and impactful than personal transportation. We’re bringing you experts, innovators, and interesting people working hard to revolutionize and decarbonize our commutes and daily trips. In each episode, we’ll discuss a different solution and ask our guest why it will save our planet.
