Amrit Kaur is a South Asian undocumented, queer, filmmaker, and storyteller from Los Angeles, CA. Her creative work challenges white supremacy and traditional narratives of API folks, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals in the US, while exploring community healing, individual mental health, and joy. She co-founded a production company called Brown Girl Joy Productions with her siblings.
