We at UpReach know how difficult it has been for students in the UK and how they have missed out on huge chunks of their education. We also know how vital it is for children to get a good education, as that is our purpose.
As children and young people have been having to teach themselves a lot of the curriculum during the Pandemic and school closures, we believe that it is key that they are offered advice and tips on how to properly revise and teach themselves certain things. This episode will hopefully help them with that.

Ep. 2 What is the National Tutoring Programme? How can it Help Bridge the Attainment Gap?

In the second episode your host, Ariane Mercurius-Taylor, will be bringing you some information about the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) - UK Government's initiative to bridge the attainment gap brought about due to the Pandemic and school closures.
This episode will outline the purpose of the NTP, the Government’s plans to extend the NTP past its initial introductory phase as well as some updates as to the progress of the programme since it's launch in 2020. John Nichols, President of the Tutors Association (TTA) will showcase some details on the workings of the NTP and its potential extension period and opinions as to the impact and usefulness of the programme from various educators, students and parents will be highlighted.
