Confidence & Being a Real Ass Human
Play • 1 hr 6 min

It's our first episode of the New Year, and the ladies were so excited to be back in the studio! Especially Kelly, who is officially a cyborg, and entering week three of her post-op recovery.

Our first guest of 2019 is Trish Blackwell and she is a freaking powerhouse, Y'all! She's a Confidence Coach, author, Podcast host, and the list goes one. She does it all while momming, too. You want to know how to be a mom and still grow as an individual person with your own interests and pursuits? You should check out her podcasts, The Confidence Podcast, and The Confident Mom Podcast

**   TRIGGER WARNING   **

Sexual assault/trauma, Eating Disorders

The ladies talk with Trish about how we can turn our worst moments into our greatest sources of triumph and confidence. They talk about trauma, PTSD, living with chronic pain and illness, living authentically, and being a real ass human. The ladies also talk a bit about body image and Trish opens up about her history with disordered eating serious body confidence issues for years while coaching others as a fitness coach. She got really good at projecting an image of success and checking all of the boxes for a good life... and yet she was kind of miserable.
