In this episode, I am joined by Dr. Peggy DeLong, and we are talking all about the science behind happiness and the impact it has on us.
Dr. Peggy DeLong is a psychologist, known as The Gratitude Psychologist. She teaches people how to harness the power of gratitude and joy to live their best lives. She does this through psychotherapy, her monthly membership Feeling Good with Dr. Peggy, online courses, speaking engagements, books, and bracelets. She is the author of 1) FEELING Good: 35 Proven Ways to Happiness, Even During Tough Times, 2) her inspirational memoir I Can See Clearly Now: A Memoir about Love, Grief, and Gratitude, and 3) The Gratitude Journal: A 365 Day Gratitude Journey.
Through her mental health/inspirational bracelet business, Peggy’s Midnight Creations, she also is the designer of The Gratitude Bracelet. Peggy also coordinates a weekly women’s walking group and hosts women’s hiking events for spiritual growth and personal development.
Peggy talks us through some very simple exercises and tips that we can use each and every day to practice gratitude.
