#47 How To Have Sex Every Day with Caitlin & Michael Doemner
Today on the podcast we welcome Caitlin and Michael Doemner, authors of Sex Every Day, who are sharing with us some hands-on tips for enjoying sexual intimacy on a daily basis, regardless of busy schedules, kids and periods.   They talk about their three-step strategy for practicing frequent intimacy, including how you can communicate your sexual desires in a fun way and what you can do to ensure that both you and your partner are always satisfied. Before you think all of this is unattainable for you as a parent of young kids, hang on a minute! They have four kids of their own and advise you on overcoming the logistics of having regular sex with a house full of small children.   Key Points From This Episode   * The interesting story of how Caitlin and Michael got together. * Why sleeping naked is such a natural and effective way to restore intimacy in a relationship. * How the menu metaphor can be used to communicate and express sexual needs. * The importance of being open to both give and receive. * What you can do to maintain intimacy with your partner throughout the day. * A quick review of the five love languages and what they each entail. * Why it is important for couples to prioritize a woman’s pleasure. * What couples with kids can practically do to preserve their intimacy and privacy. * Why a period should not be stopping you from giving and receiving uninterrupted pleasure. * And much more!   Tweetables   “It's really hard to be angry with somebody when you're laying full body contact naked with them and in bed.” [0:04:49]   “The intimacy and the passion, it doesn’t have to be intercourse …there's a lot of different ways that we can please our partners.” [0:19:45]   Links Mentioned in Today’s Episode   Bad Girls Bible Newsletter — https://badgirlsbible.com/newsletter Sex Every Day: How to Prioritize Pleasure in your Marriage — http://www.lulu.com/shop/michael-and-caitlin-doemner/sex-every-day-how-to-prioritize-pleasure-in-your-marriage/hardcover/product-23974387.html The Five Love Languages on Amazon — https://www.amazon.com/Love-Languages-Secret-that-Lasts/dp/080241270X Pussy: A Reclamation on Amazon — https://www.amazon.com/Pussy-Reclamation-Regena-Thomashauer/dp/1401950264/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_1?keywords=pussy%3A+a+reclamation&qid=1555401985&s=books&sr=1-1-fkmrnull Sex Every Day Website — https://www.sexeverydaybook.com/homepage25989259 Sex Every Day on Facebook — https://www.facebook.com/QuotidianCoitus/

I think I had a crush on a woman - Coaching Caitlin
Leah shares a coaching session with client Caitlin to give us an in-depth experience of what coaching looks and feels like. Caitlin is divorced and currently in a friends-with-benefits heterosexual relationship. She and Leah had discussed fantasies and BDSM in previous private sessions; here they focus on Caitlin’s new (or perhaps not new?) sexual attraction to women, and how she might begin to explore that in real life. Bookmark moments: * 2:15 - Leah explains what coaching does—and doesn’t—involve. She introduces Caitlin, the coach-ee! * 4:44 - Caitlin catches Leah up on a big realization she’s had since their last coaching sessions: she’s sexually curious about women too. * 10:21 - Leah helps Caitlin hone in on whether her attraction to women is a leftover effect of our hyper-sexualized-female-form-loving culture, or a deeper sexual attraction. * 14:40 - The conversation turns to fantasies; they’re a great way to safely explore new thoughts and desires. Erotica is another. * 16:51 - What “pansexual” means. * 19:31 - Dating women can feel new to women. Leah assures Caitlin that the rules are basically the same: “Don’t be an asshole.” Also, exploring sex with a new-to-you gender can feel like a second puberty. * 23:34 - When navigating COVID risks with dating apps, be clear up front about your risk tolerance and boundaries. * 26:55 - There are some sensitivities to know about for women who are new to dating women. Leah talks about bi vs lesbian. Also, there’s a difference between sexual attraction and romantic attraction. * 33:40 - Threesomes can be a fun way to try sex with a woman, if approached with sensitivity. Leah recommends more resources. * 36:39 - They talk about how to find someone who wants to explore with you on the dating apps. * 40:30 - Leah talks more about what coaching looks and feels like, in solo and group options. Resources mentioned: * Erotica collections – I recommend the collections edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel * Literotica – A site featuring erotica submitted by primarily amateur writers. I love it because no matter what your interest or fetish is, someone is writing about it here. Because it’s all amateur, though, you may have to wade through a bunch of stories that are terribly written before you hit on one that tickles your fancy! Episode 131: Male Bisexuality, Still A Thing!
An interview with Steve, a bisexual man from Australia who was inspired to reach out to me after hearing Episode 57: Straight Talk With A Bisexual Man ( https://redcircle.com/shows/7f47ac4f-26a7-40ec-96a7-dfa7b9a068e3/episodes/183ee298-5f7a-4ff9-bec0-f7c397758699 ). Today's guest has truly "tasted the rainbow" when it comes to sexual experiences and has a host of tales to share in detail, including his frustration with having to defend his sexuality because he is married to a woman. When Steve messaged me about doing an interview and sharing his identification with my previous guest, he validated all of the hopes and dreams I have for this show. As you've surely heard me say before, my motivation for this podcast is to provide the opportunity for listeners to hear something that tells them they are normal and not alone; that allows them to be more accepting of themselves and others. Additionally, today's episode is the last of Season 2 as I've made the decision to extend the break between seasons from one month to two. Season 3 will premiere in February 2021 and I wish you all a wonderful and safe winter until then. As always, please reach out if you would like to be a part of the show or share some audio recordings. Til next season...
