About Bryce Hegarty Bryce Hegarty returns to Queensland as part of the 2019 St.George Queensland Reds squad after three respectable seasons at both the Melbourne Rebels and New South Wales Waratahs. Hegarty’s Rugby career began at high school where he proved a standout player at Marist College Ashgrove in Brisbane’s inner-west. Following school, Bryce was signed by the Brisbane Broncos U20s side in 2011 before he made the switch back to the 15-man code two years later with the Melbourne Rebels. He made his Super Rugby debut in May 2013 as the Rebels’ youngest squad member, before he briefly returned home to Brisbane at the backend of the season and played Queensland Premier Rugby with GPS, who finished runners-up to Easts in the Grand Final that year. Hegarty left the Rebels at the end of the 2015 season and signed a deal to play in Japan’s Top League with Toyota Shokki Shuttles. Episode 2 - Petero Civoniceva
For our second episode we are joined by Petero Civoniceva. Josh & Petero chat all things football, family and why we live where we live. About Petero Petero Civoniceva is an Australian/Fijian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. A Queensland State of Origin and Australian international representative prop forward, in 2009 he broke the record for most international matches for Australia of any forward in history. Civoniceva played his club football for the Brisbane Broncos, with whom he won the 1998, 2000 and 2006 NRL Premierships, as well as for the Penrith Panthers, whom he captained. Late in his career whilst playing for the Redcliffe Dolphins in the Queensland Cup, Civoniceva captained the Fijian national team in their 2013 Rugby League World Cup campaign.
