Serial Victims? - Part Two
By February 1998, seven Glasgow sex workers had been found dead, many brutally attacked, leaving Glasgow sex workers fearing for their lives. While police continued to state that there was nothing so far linking the deaths and that a serial killer was not at work, others had begun to wonder if this was in fact the case, with one newspaper posing the question "Which is worse: One killer on the loose or perhaps as many as seven, who thus far have gotten away with murder?”
In part two we tell you about a further three sex workers murders, being that of Jacqueline Gallagher, Tracy Wylde and Margo Lafferty, and whether their murder inquiries would lead to anyone being convicted.

Serial Victims? - Part One
It may be the oldest profession, but it is also one of the most deadly, was a statement in an article in the Glasgow Times, after the body of an eighth sex worker in Glasgow was found, after these very vulnerable women had been working in fear for their lives for over a decade. Was there a serial killer stalking and killing these women, or were there multiple murderers walking the streets of Glasgow?

Following us attending CrimeCon in London, where we attended many sessions, including one called The Colour of Missing, where we heard Evidence Joel talk about her 19 year old son Richard Okorogheye going missing and her subsequent fight to get the police to recognise that Richard was in fact a high risk missing person, not a low risk as they had categorised it, led us to the case of Saima Ahmed, who went missing in August 2015, and sadly her case very much mirrored Richard’s

The Michael Brown Murder Part 2
Part One:
In part one we told of the brutal murder of 16 year old Michael Brown and the ensuing hunt for his killer, 23 year old Alexander Edmonstone, ending with Edinburgh police rushing to meet the train from Perth that Alexander was suspected of being on, only to find that no one matching his description alighted from the train. In part two we’ll continue the hunt for Alexander, and find out if he ever was brought to justice for murdering Michael Brown.

Conclusion and Updates - Renee and Andrew MacRae Part Two
On 12 November 1976, 36 year old Renee MacRae and her three year old son, Andrew, left Inverness for a trip to visit Renee’s sister. About 10pm that evening Renee’s car was discovered ablaze in a lay-by 12 miles outside of Inverness, Renee and Andrew had vanished. Despite many years of searching Renee and Andrew have never been found, and the case had remained unsolved. That is until 2019 when Renee's secret lover, Bill MacDowell, was arrested and charged with Renee and Andrew MacRae's murders. In this episode we cover the murder trial.

Major Thomas Weir not only had a distinguished military career but upon his retirement and move to the prestigious West Bow area of Edinburgh, he went on to become an upstanding member of Edinburgh society, a devote presbyterian, a well-respected Christian and an enthusiastic preacher, and the people of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas looked up to him and would regularly attend his prayer and preaching meetings, with him being given the nickname of The West Bow Saint. However, all that changed in 1670 when Major Thomas Weir made a shocking confession, which quickly turned him, in the eyes of the community, from a saint to a sinner.

The Karen Buckley Murder
24 year old Irish nurse Karen Buckley had moved to Glasgow in February 2015 to study occupational therapy. She had been on a night out in Glasgow with her friends, but was later seen on CCTV walking along a street with a man. Karen’s body was found four days later.
