What people don't always tell you about broken bones is that it also comes with emotional pain as well. As most of you know, Ami suffered two broken wrists a few weeks ago in an attempt to soften our daughter Alexis' fall during a family bike ride. The physical pain was bad enough, but add the emotional pain that she is going through on top of it and it is almost unbearable. She can't cook, clean, or even dress herself.
