Talking Suicide with Jazz Thornton
In this episode, Dr. Courtney Tracy has her first groundbreaking guest on to discuss how the unconscious plays a role in suicidality.
Jazz Thornton is an international mental health advocate who Co-Founded Voices of Hope. Following her own battle with mental illness, Jazz has taken her experiences and uses them to advocate for change around the world, speaking in conferences, events and schools. She directed the award-winning series Jessica's Tree as well as viral video Dear Suicidal Me which gained over 80 million views. Recently, she released her new best selling book "Stop Surviving, Start Fighting" which tells her journey on going from suicidal to hopeful. Jazz's story has also being told through the new feature film "The Girl on The Bridge" that premiered this year.
