Who is Responsible for cleaning the heart? Me or God?

When I first got saved, I discovered that I would groan in deep prayer or when I was in a deeply spiritual setting. I started to dig into the bible to see if it was biblical. Turn Self Loathing into Passion
Conrad begins by discussing how it is natural to feel self-loathing and wallow in self-pity after making a mistake. However, he argues that it is possible to change this perspective by repenting and renewing one's mind. He cites verses from Ezekiel which talk about how people should loathe themselves for their wicked ways and then goes on to say that when they repent and change their ways, they will know that God is the Lord.
Conrad discusses how self-loathing can become a self-perpetuating cycle, and how it is important to break out of that cycle. He talks about how David encouraged himself in the Lord even when he made mistakes, and how we need to do the same.
In order to change self loathing into passion, one must first understand what passion is. Passion is not simply an action that is done out of necessity, but rather it is something that is done with excitement and zeal. Spiritual Revelation - What to DO with it!
Conrad discusses how individuals may receive revelations from the Spirit of Truth that are difficult to share with others due to the fact that they may not understand them. He goes on to say that it is important to discern whether or not the revelation is from the Spirit of Truth by checking it with mentors, reading the Bible, and/or searching the scriptures.
Conrad talks about how when he has a spiritual revelation, it's like two tuning forks vibrating in harmony with each other. He says that in order for someone else to catch that same revelation, they have to be open and receptive to it. Sometimes it takes a while for the revelation to sink in, and other times people act like they just figured it out even though Conrad tried to tell them the same thing years ago. Conrad also says that just because you have a revelation, it doesn't mean you can walk in it yet. It's important to meditate on the revelation and let it sink in before trying to apply it to your life.

Agape Love - Spiritual Progression
Conrad is constantly learning new things about God. He likens this to reading the Bible and having sudden new revelations about things he has read many times before. He talks about how this spiritual progression has been there the whole time and he is only now seeing it everywhere.
Conrad begins by talking about how, as Christians, we are called to move from a place of fearing God to one of loving Him. He then talks about how Jesus defines love, saying that we are called to love God with all our heart, mind, and strength.
Jesus says that those who love Him will keep His commandments, and He will manifest Himself to them. Judas asks why Jesus will not manifest Himself to the world if He loves them. Jesus explains that if someone loves Him, they will keep His commandments. This is a contrast between those who believe and those who love Jesus. Jesus will manifest Himself to those who love Him.

The Bible talks about how the heart 'gathers iniquity to itself'. I found a parallel with cognitive bias. This is where we automatically filter out information that challenges our presuppositions. I explore finding cognitive bias in ourselves and how we can have fruitful conversations with people that may have cognitive bias.

Our negative thoughts turn into our identity;

The Christian Yoga Deception
Should Christians participate in yoga?
When I went into the new age I studied a Hindu by the name of Paramahansa Yogananda. I thought Christians didn't understand their own Bible because they rejected the spiritual Supernatural aspect of the Bible.
Here comes this Yogi explaining the supernatural aspects of the Bible in an awesome New Age Hindu way. So I thought.
He was the beginning of an onslaught of Hindu evangelism coming into the United States.
Hindus are selling YOGA as science and masking the fact that it's a spiritual, Supernatural Pagan religion that opens people up to the Demonic Realm.
Yoga teachers in the west have become the leading missionaries of Hinduism.
It's not only sweeping America it's sweeping through the church.

Transforming Prayer
I have been praying in Word and Spirit over the last few weeks and I have some revelation about transforming our prayer life.
Pray first two lines of Lord's prayer;
Pray in Spirit;
Keeping mind stayed upon Him Isaiah 26:3;
My goal is to get into the Ezekiel river;
So much in spirit, we forget gravity;
Intentionally wading into Ezekiel's river;
Bouncing out of the spirit by thinking our own thoughts;
God is a Spirit that must be worshipped in Spirit;
In the beginning is the Word;
Worship in spirit - I can back out without a model;
Psalm 100:4 entering into the spirit but not staying;
Groaning in the spirit with words that cannot be uttered;
After this manner - keeping our mind on Him;
The Spirit meets us in our meditation;
Paul knew the Word but not the Spirit until Acts 9;
The Spirit wields the Eph 6 Word Sword;
We purposely determine to walk into the river;

At this time in the world, there is some crazy stuff going on. Hurricane Harvey just ended and now here comes one of the strongest hurricanes on record - Hurricane Irma.
