The Holy Spirit in Salvation
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 — Who is Jesus? Many say that Jesus was merely a good teacher. He was, indeed a teacher, the greatest teacher who has ever lived. But, He is more. Christ did not merely come to teach, for teaching cannot conquer sin. Law cannot change a man. Jesus came to change lives. Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones explains from 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, that Christians “once were” something else, but they have been transformed. The Christian is a new man, no longer under the power and sway of the devil. The wicked one cannot touch him.
