As of Monday, 8 November, Australians over 18 who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine at least six months ago, are now eligible for a third dose.

So why do we need booster shots? What does it mean for Australia as we transition to living with the virus? And when should we be rolling up our sleeves for our next dose?
