Three Austin companies have collected a combined $33 million in recent funding deals. Interplay Learning, which offers remote learning for career training in skilled trades, said it has received $18 million to fuel its growth. Meanwhile, Sunroom Rentals, which helps property managers and landlords lease their units, said it has raised $11 million for expansion beyond Austin to other Texas markets. Indoor Dining, movies and museums will once again be allowed in San Francisco, Santa Clara and Napa Counties. Today they joined San Mateo and Marin Counties in moving more Bay Area Counties into the red tier for easing COVID restrictions. Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried is calling on Governor Ron DeSantis to suspend Manatee County Commission Chair Vanessa Baugh over allegations she created a vaccine priority list that included herself and a prominent developer. Fried, the only statewide elected Democrat, also sent a letter to Congress Monday asking for an investigation into “potential political corruption” related to vaccine pop-up clinics that were organized by DeSantis donors in Southwest Florida and that benefited residents in communities developed by those donors. After two weeks of play, the Palm Beach Post high school baseball rankings have changed dramatically. In both the public and private school rankings, there are new number one teams. In the public-school category, it's Palm Beach Gardens, which was won its first four games to leapfrog Park Vista.
