More than 1 million COVID-19 vaccines have now been administered statewide, according to the Florida Department of Health. On Monday, the health department reported 14,103 people received a COVID-19 vaccine in Florida, bringing the total number of administered vaccines to 1,066,107. Of those, 100,351 were booster doses. The state Department of Health reported an additional 9,816 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases statewide to 1,589,097. Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith, projected by many to be selected by the Dolphins with the third pick in the next NFL Draft, will attend the Senior Bowl next week. The Dolphins, along with the Carolina Panthers, will work with players at the Senior Bowl as the coaching staffs for the game. Ohio's slow rollout of COVID-19 vaccines isn't speeding up anytime soon.  On Tuesday, Gov. Mike DeWine announced that some adults with severe congenital, developmental or early-onset medical disorders will have to wait another three weeks for COVID-19 vaccines. The state is prioritizing people with intellectual or developmental disabilities and at-risk of COVID-19 complications first, making them eligible next week. If Ohio doesn't have enough vaccine doses, DeWine said he might delay the rollout to Ohioans ages 70 and older, too.
