Asylum seekers on the border are gaining entry into the United States to have their requests processed after President Joe Biden reversed former President Trump's "remain in Mexico" policy.

A pedestrian who was fatally struck by a Lexus earlier this month in South Austin has been identified as 65-year-old Steven James Ingram, Austin police said. The driver of the Lexus stayed at the scene. Police said no charges are expected to be filed. Police said Ingram appeared to have been experiencing homelessness and was living under the overpass at West Ben White Boulevard and Menchaca Road. The historic winter storm wiped out most of South Texas' citrus crop and halted dairy processing in the Panhandle for days. Consumers will likely continue seeing short-term shortages, producers say.

Baseball is back. And no one is happier than those fans starving to see America’s Pastime live for the first time in nearly a year. Many spring training games in Jupiter, West Palm Beach and Port St. Lucie are sold out and those that are not have very limited tickets available. The same thing is happening around the rest of the Grapefruit League in the state as well as Arizona where teams play in the Cactus League. The Florida Disabled Outdoors Association is working to connect people who have physical and intellectual disabilities with outdoors experiences, such as hunting, fishing and going to the beach. Recently, through a $20,000-dollar grant from the Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida, the nonprofit purchased a track chair. The track chair is like a wheelchair except it's electric, uses a joystick control and has tracks similar to a tank or bulldozer, which enables it to climb over uneven terrain. The nonprofit is working on a rental program in which track chairs are widely accessible in Florida. For now, three track chairs are available to access at Holton Creek Wildlife Management Area in Jasper; Blackwater Wildlife Management Area in Milton and Seminole State Forest in Eustis.
