One in eight Columbus essential workers is undocumented immigrant, study finds
Undocumented immigrants account for 12% of Columbus' essential workforce, according to a study by FWD.us. The Washington, D.C.-based immigration advocacy group released data Tuesday on cities where the essential worker population is made up of at least 10% undocumented immigrants. In Columbus, 20,000 essential workers are undocumented. Nationally, there are more than 5 million undocumented essential workers, according to FWD.us.
