S2 / E53 Too Close To Home: Stalking Dave Kroupa
Play • 1 hr 39 min

Dave Kroupa was stalked for over four years by a woman who was impersonating his ex to cover up her murder.

While single, Dave began casually dating several women at the same time making it clear that he wasn’t looking for anything serious.

One of those women was Shanna “Liz” Golyar whom he dated for a few months before he met and dated Cari Farver.

After two weeks with Cari he received a text asking to move in together and he turned her down. He was then stalked for over four years by someone he believed was Cari.

Dave discovered that Cari wasn’t his stalker but another woman in his life that was impersonating Cari to cover up her murder.

On Saturday, February 23rd - 2019, Jassy Correia was out celebrating her upcoming birthday at the popular Venu nightclub in Boston, MA. The following Wednesday, an alert went out that she was now officially considered a “missing person.” Family and friends hadn’t heard from her in days, and whilst Boston Police promptly posted the club’s surveillance video the night Jassy disappeared, they noticed that she was not alone. The question that collectively loomed over the city of Boston as time ran thin- was who was the man appearing on camera with Jassy, when she was last seen alive? The Lake Andes Mystery // 110
In late 1992, a couple was driving after a night of partying when they got into a terrible car wreck. When their bodies were found at the crash, this small, South Dakota town wondered if they had gone off on their own or if someone had abducted them. 3 months later, a bizarre discovery was made and it brought more questions than answers to the case. This is the story of Arnold Archambeau and Ruby Bruguier. *BONUS EPISODES* *CASE SOURCES* ( ) ( ) Advertising Inquiries: Privacy & Opt-Out:
