In this series of Rewirement from Legal & General, Angellica Bell is hearing colourful, unique and inspiring stories from people in retirement.

Angellica finds out how two unique retirees have achieved this. Jill is a former teacher with bundles of energy who eased her way into retirement with part-time work, and bought a Sprocker Spaniel to keep pace with her running hobby. 

Peter’s also a keen runner, but he explains how pursuing an art degree helped him scratch an itch his careers in engineering and journalism hadn’t reached. He tells us his three pillars for staying mentally and physically happy and healthy in retirement. 

To get some expert ideas and financially savvy suggestions, Angellica’s chatting with Legal & General’s Emma Byron, Managing Director of Retirement Solutions, as well as health coach Susan Saunders.
