How should a church get involved in supporting world mission? I answer this question in two videos. The first starts in Matthew 16 and then looks at the book of Acts to get a picture of what mission looked like in the New Testament era. The follow up (in a couple of weeks) will look at what mission support looks like in Pauls’ letter to the Philippians.
I’m going to try and post a longer video on Friday mornings in the future. These will either be interviews with people interesting people involved in mission or world Christianity or talks by me (who is less interesting).
For those who don’t want to stare at my face for half an hour, these will also be available as audio recordings. At some point, you should be able to subscribe to them as a podcast, but I’m waiting for a major fruit-based podcast provider to confirm that I exist. I’ll post more in detail about the podcast when all of the details are available, but if you try searching for Kouyanet Podcast, you might find it.
The Kouyanet blog, podcast, videos and downloads are distributed (for the most part) free of charge in the hope that they will be of use to those who are interested in mission, theology and the world church. However, if you would like to support the site, you can do so by signing up to be a regular patron, buying something from our Wishlist or making a one off donation using the button below.
