Top Tips

Build your confidence

Self-confidence is a feeling of trust in one’s abilities, qualities, and judgment. A healthy sense of self-confidence is all about having a balanced view of yourself — taking pride in your abilities while recognizing your flaws.

Confidence can help you to take on the world with more energy and determination, resulting in better relationships, quality work and a feeling of being connected with your surroundings.

Have a coach

Coaching is still not understood by everyone, and that is entirely normal. It is not a must to have a coach, and yes you can get yourself to a higher potential without a coach also, but with a coach, you will get there quicker, better and most importantly with more confidence.

A coach will understand and help you understand the source of the lack of confidence and fear of failure. A coach can give you ideas for ways to improve yourself, but more importantly they can help them become aware of your blind spots.

Simply put, a coach will help you stoke your success.

Master Your Mental Health 101 w/ Dr. Nicole LePera (@the.holistic.psychologist)
Improve Your Sleep Quality w/ Manta: https://bit.ly/2JAF4jP Dr. Nicole LePera is a Holistic Psychologist who believes that mental wellness is for everyone. She evolved her more traditional training from Cornell University and The New School to one that acknowledges the connection between the mind and body. Dr. LePera views mental and physical struggles from a whole person perspective and works to identify the underlying physical and emotional causes. She understands that balance in an integral part of wellness and empowers individuals to heal themselves, supporting them on their wellness journeys. Dr. LePera founded the Mindful Healing Center in Center City Philadelphia where she works with individuals, couples, and families taking gut health, sleep, movement, cellular health, belief, and mindfulness into treatment. Holistic Psychology is a relatively new school of psychological thought that views the person as a whole and indivisible entity, where it is impossible to treat the mind and behavior, without taking the client's physical health, lifestyle, environment, relationships, etc. into consideration and dealing appropriately with all of these facets. This school of therapy differs from more traditional therapy methods in that it concentrates on the client's relationships and interactions with their environment and how they express these relationships through their feeling, thinking and being. This style of therapy attempts to explore and transform consciousness, rather than merely changing thought patterns or behaviors. Lost Connections
Disclaimer: we are not psychologists or psychiatrists, or in anyway giving medical advice. Johann Hari was depressed as a young man. He was told a story about why he felt so down: that depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. They say that the brains of depressed people have lower levels of serotonin (the happiness molecule). Then we’re told that Big Pharma has the answer. They’ve made drugs that can restore your serotonin levels back to “normal”. This version of the answer says that depression is a brain disease, and companies have the cure... for a profit of course. When scientists tested the water supply in Western countries, they found find it laced with antidepressants. We're literally and figuratively awash with these drugs. What is startling in other cultures has become normal to the Western world. We've just accepted that a huge number of people are so distressed that they need to take a powerful chemical every day to pull themselves together. Johann Hari has asked a distinctly different question. Could something other than bad brain chemistry be causing depression and anxiety? This question led to 3 years of research and 200+ interviews. The story that it is all in our head has holes in it. What Johann Hari has found is another story: depression is largely due to the world and how we live in it. The factors that cause depression in society are everywhere. Even worse, they are on the rise.

351: How to Eat Smarter and Optimize Your Health with Shawn Stevenson
When I was younger, I made a decision about my diet that forever changed my life: I will value the impact that food has on my body above the taste. At first, nothing changed overnight, but that decision gradually became my guiding principle so much so that I rarely put anything in my body that doesn’t add value to my health and energy. When it comes to our health, and building our immunity to avoid viruses, disease, and illness, what we eat is arguably the single most important decision we can make. This year has made it more obvious than ever that the United States is the sickest nation in human history, and many people are being drastically affected by preventable illnesses. However, with all this instability comes an incredible opportunity to change. Researcher and bestselling author, Shawn Stevenson—who joined me on the podcast previously to talk about his book Sleep Smarter—has just released his new book, Eat Smarter: Use the Power of Food to Reboot Your Metabolism, Upgrade Your Brain, and Transform Your Life. Today, Shawn joins me to talk about the astounding problems with our healthcare system, the importance of diet and exercise in illness prevention, and the major cultural changes that need to happen to help us become a healthier society. KEY TAKEAWAYS * The major underlying issues affecting the health of so many people right now that aren’t being discussed - and what we can do about it. * How the COVID-19 pandemic has amplified the effects of years of ignoring chronic illness. * How stress and uncertainty make us physically sicker by suppressing immune function. * How to improve and optimize your gut bacteria and the other microorganisms that inhabit your body. Find the Blessing | An Intimate Fireside Chat with Tony and Sage Robbins (Part 1)
Tony and Sage sit down for an intimate fireside chat to personally share what their own experience has been during this time, and also share a message of hope and unity during this unique holiday season. Together they tell us how this is a time to move forward, to create, to be able to step into another dimension of who we are. Because what we get will never make us happy; it’s who we become and what we contribute. “We are not the manager of our circumstances, we are the creator of our life experience.” – Tony Robbins About The Fireside Chat Series: In the 1930s and 40s, a time when the country was struggling even more than it is today, we had an amazing leader named FDR. He began doing evening radio programs called “fireside chats,” designed to communicate directly with the American people. At that time, 90% of people in the U.S at that time had a radio. Today, 96% of people have a cell phone and nearly all have internet access. Instead of being unified and watching all the same things, and having a collective experience, now we're all kind of separated. And we can see division in our culture. We desperately need a form of unity, a form of connection, more humanity and more kindness in the world. Tony and Sage thought to bring back this time-honored tradition of a fireside chat as a means of unity and compassion. We’re entering the winter season, drawing inward into our homes and into ourselves, reflecting on the hardships and blessings alike this unique year has brought. In this three-part series, you will hear them dispel their hopes and dreams for you this holiday season, as well as share some of Tony’s powerful tools and strategies to not only survive the coming months, but to step up and thrive.
