Top Tips

Take care of our environment

A clean environment Is essential for healthy living, hence the more we take for granted our environment, the more it will become polluted with contaminants and toxins that can have a harmful effects on our health.

In order for us to take care of our bodies, we eat well, exercise and make sure to get enough sleep. That's our internal environment. And the environment that surrounds us -- air, soil, water and ecosystems -- is equally important for our health and the health and well being of others.

It is so important that we do our due diligence in helping nature to thrive, however we can. As young people looking towards the future, we can all take responsibility for our planet and environment, making sure that That starts with taking care of the environment so that future generations will be able to enjoy the benefits in years to come.

Stand up for what you care for

One of the most difficult things for people to do is to stand up for their beliefs and what they care for. Sticking up for what you believe in and care for builds your self-respect because you're following through with your values.

When you stand up for what you believe in, you are your own person. You are in charge of what you do. Stand up for what you believe in and care for, even if it means standing by yourself. Because even if you are standing alone, you'll know for a fact that it was your choice.

Fight for what you believe in and care for because if you don’t stand up for them, who will?

Try and try again

Trying again is important since failures are a part of life and if we stop after failure we allow ourself to accept defeat. We should grow stronger with failure. With determination and perseverance we must keep trying to achieve what we want in life.

Trying takes commitment and an intention to give the best of yourself to something without necessarily knowing the outcome. Focus on what can be learnt from a failure and hace a better chance of success the next time around.

How to Trade Expectations for Appreciation | A Fireside Chat with Tony and Sage Robbins (Part 2)
Tony and Sage sit down for an intimate fireside chat to unpack the stress many of us feel around the holidays. We all have rules and beliefs about how things are supposed to be or how people are supposed to be. And when they do not meet our expectations, we suffer. The holidays can hold a magnifying glass over these expectations, whether that be family dynamics, budgets, or how well the turkey turned out. Listen as Tony and Sage suggest a new approach: To replace expectation with appreciation, to lead with gratitude and thanksgiving instead of worry, fear or anger. Sage eloquently calls us to take pause on the list-making and to-do’s associated with getting ready for the holidays. And Tony provides us with an invaluable tool for how to get more joy out of each individual moment and experience. It’s time to make a decision about what kind of holiday you want to have, to bring a new level of enjoyment for yourself and to be a blessing to those you love most. “What’s wrong is always available, so is what’s right.” - Tony Robbins About The Fireside Chat Series: In the 1930s and 40s, a time when the country was struggling even more than it is today, we had an amazing leader named FDR. He began doing evening radio programs called “fireside chats,” designed to communicate directly with the American people. At that time, 90% of people in the U.S at that time had a radio. Today, 96% of people have a cell phone and nearly all have internet access. Instead of being unified and watching all the same things, and having a collective experience, now we're all kind of separated. And we can see division in our culture. We desperately need a form of unity, a form of connection, more humanity and more kindness in the world. Tony and Sage thought to bring back this time-honored tradition of a fireside chat as a means of unity and compassion. We’re entering the winter season, drawing inward into our homes and into ourselves, reflecting on the hardships and blessings alike this unique year has brought. In this three-part series, you will hear them dispel their hopes and dreams for you this holiday season, as well as share some of Tony’s powerful tools and strategies to not only survive the coming months, but to step up and thrive.
