When bad sex is your life
34 min
We’ve all got a bad sex story. The partner who’s selfish in the sack. The horribly uninspiring one-night stand. The lover with 'performance anxiety'. Most of us have been there. There’s this idea though that we grow out of it — that we all get better at 'doing it' as we get older. But what if that doesn’t happen? What if bad sex is your life?

Ep 62: Sebaceous Filaments VS Blackheads
We're back for another episode of Beauty IQ Uncensored, brought to you by Adore Beauty.  What’s on this episode? We’re glad you asked... Cringey: IV Drips We recently visited Grown Alchemist to try "drip therapy" - please note, this is a medical procedure so always consult a doctor. We had a fusion of vitamins and antioxidants, prescribed by a doctor and administered by a registered nurse in a sterile and clinical setting. Our experiences are individual, and we're not suggesting anyone "needs" this treatment. You can out more about drip therapy here: https://www.grownalchemist.com/au/page/drip-therapy/?utm_source=omny&utm_medium=podcast Sebaceous Filaments vs Blackheads Dermal therapist, clinical educator and Head of Dermal at Extra Clinic in Canberra, Elise Birchall joins us to discuss the difference between sebaceous filaments and blackheads, how to treat them, why some of us are more prone to blackheads, and why you shouldn't try to squeeze them out of your boyfriend. Elise mentions the following products during her interview: Medik8 Pore Cleanse asap radiance serum Medik8 Crystal Retinal You can find Elise on Instagram at @elise_skin  https://www.adorebeauty.com.au/skin-care/concerns/blackheads/guide/blackheads-vs-sebaceous-filaments?utm_source=omny&utm_medium=podcast PWDKWN: Jo: a teabag... see the TikTok we were mentioning here: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSgjgv8Q/?utm_source=omny&utm_medium=podcast Hannah: Apotecari Mane Event  https://www.adorebeauty.com.au/apotecari/apotecari-mane-event-60-capsules-1-month-supply.html?utm_source=omny&utm_medium=podcast Disclaimer: https://www.adorebeauty.com.au/disclaimer.html Hosts: Joanna Fleming & Hannah Furst Guests: Elise Birchall Support the show: https://www.adorebeauty.com.au/beautyiq See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Woman Who Manages Australia’s Biggest Celebrities
Michael Bublé, Delta Goodrem, Guy Sebastian, Fleetwood Mac, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Prince. What do all these famous musicians have in common? They are just a small fraction of the talent managed by today’s guest, Jennifer Fontaine. Jennifer started her career at Sony Music Entertainment Australia, before moving on to Warner Music Group. But then, like so many women, she decided she wanted to do exactly what she wanted to do. She wanted to work for herself. So in 2007, she founded Private Idaho Management, and began to look after the careers of Human Nature, and Guy & Jules Sebastian. But with offices in both Sydney and LA, Jen was travelling a lot. All while taking care of her son and trying to grow her business.  So how did she do it?  And how on earth does she find time to lift weights 6 times a week?  THE END BITS: You can find Private Idaho Management here - https://www.privateidaho.com.au/. We've Become Princess Diana Conspiracy Theorists
Hello muffins and welcome to a brand spanking new AWD episode. This week, we pay a quick homage to 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' on its 10 year anniversary, and as Complex crowns it the album of the decade. In short: We miss the old Kanye. Listeners share their own stories of embarrassing stories of love-gone-wrong in your early 20s. Ivanka Trump's former bestie pulled a Natalie and penned a bitchy essay for Vanity Fair - but why do so many (white) women bristle against fully condemning Ivanka? Lena Dunham wrote an essay for Harper's about her struggles with IVF - leading to a rambling discussion from us about the inescapable questions that surround motherhood, work and fertility, and how new technology often leads to more shame and self-hatred for women. Then, it's onto the only topic we ever want to talk about: Princess Diana. The BBC have opened an investigation into whether or not her 1995 Panorama interview was obtained unethically - while a new five-part series 'You're Wrong About' investigates the myths and legends surrounding Princess Di's death. A documentary directed by Lily Allen's Dad (randomly) has turned us into conspiracy theorists - so what's the truth? And why can't we stop talking about it, 20+ years later?  As always, rate, review and subscribe - and we'll see you Saturday. ❤️ Disclaimer: Izzy doesn't really think the royals killed Princess Diana. Please don't @ her.
