Defunding the Police May Have Negative Consequences
Darrell Castle talks about the movement to defund the police in many of our progressive Democrat cities and some of the consequences that are developing from the movement. Transcription / Notes: DEFUNDING THE POLICE MAY HAVE NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday July 3, 2020 the day before the 4th of July when in years past we have celebrated our nation’s founding. My office is closed today in honor of Independence Day, but I maintain my lonely vigil high atop the streets of my city. I will be talking about the movement to defund the police in many of our progressive Democrat cities and some of the consequences that are developing from that movement. For the Castle Family everything is just fine as we struggle on against the effects of the virus. The family daughter still stuck but safe thousands of miles away. In honor of the 4th I will make this a little shorter today, but I need to say a few words about big city police forces and what is happening to them as they go out each day to face the most violent and relentless people among us. My observation after more than 40 years of working within the legal system in my city of Memphis, Tennessee as well as other cities around the country is that the authority figures from judges to mayors want and need the support of the police forces in their city. They always have, at least until now, given the police the benefit of the doubt. The killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis changed that perspective and city leaders in Democrat cities across the country, perhaps caught up in the moment, began to speak out against the police. People were and are upset, not with individual officers but the police in general. Calls to defund them in many places and calls for disbanding them in others became the order of the day. Police morale plummeted as the officers began to feel the city and people, they risked their lives to protect, turning their backs on them. Many officers across the country felt like they were being held responsible for what four officers in Minneapolis had done. Since this whole movement started in Minneapolis let’s look at that city first. After the George Floyd killing, the city council voted 9 to 0 to completely abolish the city’s police department. The vote will require a referendum on the ballot for popular vote in November, but such a vote must have been devastating for police morale. The council quickly voted to fund a private security force for themselves at a cost of $4500 per day each. They deliver the chaos to others through their grandstanding, but sure don’t want to be subject to it themselves. The officers repeatedly expressed the view that they had been abandoned by the city and its people. Those veteran officers eligible for early retirement went ahead and retired and many others just resigned. The president of the police union offered to resign but the officers convinced him not to. The executive director of the Minnesota police association said “Leadership really needs to turn and luck in the mirror. At the state level, at the city level, nobody’s doing that right now.” The result was that the murder rate in Minneapolis skyrocketed virtually overnight. With police not answering calls or at least very few calls the people of Minneapolis apparently decided to amuse themselves by killing each other. Out in Seattle the summer of love turned into the summer of murder, rape, and robbery much to the chagrin of Mayor Jenny Durkin. She finally ordered the police force to dismantle the foreign country established in the middle of her city. She makes the mess and her much maligned police force clean it up. In New York City mayor De Blasio always has his ear to the ground listening for the rumbles of warnings of evolving progressive agenda items. He came under pressure to defund the police and on his own authority the NYC police are now absent about one billion dollars in funding.

The Truth is a Precious Commodity
Darrell Castle talks about the growing levels of anarchy and violence in America. Transcription / Notes THE TRUTH IS A PRECIOUS COMMODITY Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday June 26, 2020 and on this Report I will be talking about the growing levels of anarchy and violence in America. In addition, we will look for the truth and examine why it is sometimes hard to grasp. For the Castle Family this is week five post quarantine and so far so good, but there are ominous storm clouds hanging over my city with calls from city council members to go back to stage one lockdown which would be death to many if not most businesses. In times like these I really miss the family daughter who is safe but just a face on the computer screen thousands of miles from us. I don’t know when if ever flights from her island will be permitted so we pray for her and we wait. There are some very strange things happening in America today. Statues of people who built nations and who achieved great things are being toppled by people who have never accomplished anything in their lives. I’m not talking about Robert E. Lee here folks because it has gone far beyond Confederate generals. It started with monuments to Confederate dead and the Confederate battle flag and has progressed to anything by white Europeans. Here is just a partial list of monuments recently removed, destroyed, or defaced by either an angry mob or by an unelected bureaucrat who just made the decision to do it without consulting any voters. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Phillip Schuyler, Caesar Rodney, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, Juniperro Serra, Juan de Onate, William McKinley, Robert E. Lee, Christopher Columbus, Stand Watie, Miguel Cervantes, Queen Isabella of Castile. Diego de Vargas, Francis Scott Key, The Texas Rangers, Orville Hubbard, Jerry Richardson, The Richmond, Virginia Police, Delaware Law Enforcement, Oregonian Pioneers, Oregonian Pioneer Mothers, John Sutter, Theodore Roosevelt, Raoul Wallenberg. Cities across America and Europe have allowed mobs to pull down vandalize and destroy statues of historical figures from different walks of life. Cities could stop it if they choose to, but no one in the media is asking them why. The statue of Raoul Wallenberg in his native Sweden donated by Jews who survived the holocaust was torn down and destroyed. No one presumed to be white or to represent Western Civilization has been spared. President Trump, upset because of vandalism of Iconic monuments in the nation’s capital, including Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and the World War Two memorial, signed an executive order allowing federal authorities to arrest and prosecute those who vandalize federal property. Whether out of genuine concern or just virtue signaling to his base, Washington DC is a federal protectorate, so no such order was necessary for federal authorities to act. Some city mayors are starting to have second thoughts about allowing anarchy in their cities. At first, they seemed to have some degree of sympathy and even admiration for the goals of the mobs, but these things have a way of escalating and becoming all consuming. I suppose they learned the hard way that just because you are down with the cause does not mean the cause is down with you. In addition, lots of private tax paying citizens get caught up in the mob’s effort to destroy civilization. In Minneapolis where this all started, people used to be able to live peaceful middle America lives but no more. Now the city competes with Chicago, Baltimore, Seattle, as a haven for crime. Not just any crime but crimes of violence, especially murder. When it was limited to minority neighborhoods as it is in Chicago the city was apparently willing to put up with it, but now it is all over the progressive enclave of Minneapolis. In downtown Minneapolis, where I have spent many days, visiting friends, attending ball games and attending the Ron Paul Convention in 2008,

Century of the Common Man
Darrell Castle talks about what Vice President Henry Wallace described in a 1942 speech as the Century of the Common Man. What is the status of the “common man” today? Transcription / Notes CENTURY OF THE COMMON MAN Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday June 19, 2020 and on this Report I will be talking about what former vice president Henry Wallace described as the century of the common man. What condition is the common man in today since this is supposed to be his century? For the Castle Family week four out of quarantine passed uneventfully although the powers that be tell us we are now part of the masked ones whether we want to be or not. The family daughter remains marooned but safe and unmasked, virus free but in a distant land. On May 8, 1942 in the Grand Ballroom of the Commodore Hotel in New York City Vice President Henry Wallace gave a speech to a packed house. It was packed with a diverse group from 33 different nations including all the nations of Latin America. It was the Vice President after all, and the nation was in the early stages of a World War. Mr. Wallace titled his speech “The Century of the Common Man.” He reviewed the great revolutions that had engulfed the world over the centuries in which he asserted the common man had tried to uplift himself through bloodshed. He emphasized that the next century would be different, since the coming change would be for the benefit of the common man and the government would bring it peacefully. He said that he and President Roosevelt were proposing to make the following 100 years the century of the common man buttressed by the four freedoms emphasized by the President in his recent speech to congress. These four freedoms, President Roosevelt told the world, were the four freedoms that Americans held to be so dear they would be willing to die for them or go abroad and kill to protect them. The four freedoms were freedom of speech, freedom of religion or worship as the President worded it, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. We will address the state of the four in a moment but first, the vice president’s speech became an international sensation. Mr. Wallace was an avowed socialist or communist depending on who you talked to, and that was 78 years before Bernie Sanders made it fashionable to be a socialist. Composer Aaron Copeland who was the son of Jewish Lithuanian immigrants was so taken by the speech that he wrote a composition in honor of it which he called “Fanfare for the Common Man.” The piece became a part of Americana and is still played today. I’m sure you’ve heard it sometime in your lifetime. The vice president was honored by fellow socialists around the world for his idea of bloodless revolution although at the time the world was awash in blood. Mr. Wallace proposed that the government should relive the burden of individual responsibility that the common man had shouldered since the advent of America. The burden would henceforth be socialized across all strata of society. Incidentally, what is a common man. What does it mean to be called common? In the traditional European definition, it meant anyone not a member of an inherited royal status or anyone not deemed royal by a member of the royal family. Here in America where we are supposed to reject such titles, it could mean anyone not of any esteemed social status. Such things in America are usually determined by money instead of birth. At the time Mr. Wallace spoke, common men and women were dying by the millions across the world. Dying in battle, dying as collateral damage, and dying in the German Camps. When the war ended, the 15 years of the post war boom really could truthfully be said to be the golden age of the common man. Except for a few years fighting on the Korean peninsula, the common man’s plight was uplifted by the world war and its aftermath. The industrial machinery of the war was converted quickly to civilian consumer goods and that provided good...

A Country Unwilling to Defend Itself
Darrell Castle talks about the mass insanity that grips our nation and how we as the American people seem unwilling to defend ourselves from it. Transcription / Notes A COUNTRY UNWILLING TO DEFEND ITSELF Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday June 12, 2020 and on this Report I will be talking about the madness, the insanity, in which America, and perhaps all of what was once Western Civilization, finds itself. For the Castle Family this is the third week back in the office from quarantine and so far, so good. The family daughter remains marooned on her small island many thousands of miles from us, but at least safe. Perhaps in July she will be released from confinement. I’ve been thinking a lot about the concept of mass insanity and how we, as a nation, seem to be in the grips of it. To refresh my memory about how it all works I decided to consult one of my favorite books and authors and that is Charles Mackey’s “Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds”. Written in 1841 but still very relevant today Mr. Mackey explores the concept of mass or crowd insanity and how it is quite different from individual madness. The backdrop for the book was the tulip mania that gripped Europe in Mr. Mackey’s day. People trading in the future price of tulip bulbs drove the price to an unimaginable high in that day. It made no sense except when looked at from the standpoint of crowd or mob action. “When a man enters a crowd, he exits civilization.” That is obviously just as true today as it was in 1841 and as evidence, I argue that a man in a riot or even in a mass protest is a man in a crowd. His reason departs and he is driven by the hormones, the emotions of the crowd rather than his own. Men go mad in herds while they must recover their senses one by one. Friedrich Nietzsche in the same era as Mackey said that madness is a rarity in individuals but the rule in crowds. In a crowd a man is not a man but simply a face thus the expression just a face in the crowd. He is a cog in a lunatic machine. He cannot think rationally so the crowd thinks for him. Crowds need something to unite them so they will always have their devils. The devil could be policemen, whites, blacks, Muslims, Christians, progressives, conservatives etc. Whatever it is, each crowd will have its devil. It will always be a devil which inspires the crowd. I can cite no better example of crowd madness than what has happened since the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police a few days ago. Mr. Floyd’s death appeared to me to be a virtual assassination. Three police officers hold a man down while another puts a knee on his neck for eight minutes while being filmed doing it. It appeared to be an act of cold-blooded murder, which in a death penalty state should have sent the officer to death row. The question then is, was Mr. Floyd’s murder an indictment of America as a sick, racist society as alleged by some. I argue that it does not and furthermore, other than Mr. Floyd’s race there is not much to indicate the attack was racially motivated. I understand the argument that if he had not been black the officer would not have put his knee on his neck, but the argument may or may not be valid. Can we rationally discuss whether it’s a valid argument or not, probably not, but I will make a few points now? The submission technique that ultimately killed Mr. Floyd is one taught to US police forces by the Israeli military. Consult You Tube and you can find videos of Israeli instructors teaching the technique. They use it to subdue Palestinians in Gaza and other places they are deployed every day. One officer is to hold the subject’s legs while the other kneels on his neck to get control of him. Does that mean Mr. Floyd’s murder was not racially motivated? No, it doesn’t, and I admit that I have no way of knowing, but there is evidence that the technique is and has been widely used against people of all races.

It’s Not China — It’s the Chinese Communist Party
Darrell Castle talks about China and the history of how U.S. manufacturing was shipped to the Chinese Communist Party to exploit its cheap labor. Transcription / Notes: IT’S NOT CHINA—IT’S THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, June 5, 2020 and on today’s report I will be talking about China from the perspective of what all the recent “news” is about. As you may guess I have my own views on the subject which I will endeavor to share with you today. My intention was to talk about issue number one which of course is the killing of George Floyd and its aftermath, but I have gained little if any traction with my own views on the subject, so I proceed to issue number two which is China. Perhaps I can share my views on Mr. Floyd and the aftermath of his death at some other point. What is going on between China and the United States right now amounts to the result of an un-written but spoken agreement that was started in what seems like ancient history now. Before I get to that let me pause for a moment and say that when we say China did this or that, we are making a serious mistake. The rest of the world, especially in places like China and the Middle East, believe that the United States is a self-governing country. We elect our leaders, they presume, so when our leaders do something, they conclude that America did it. In their minds we are responsible for the acts of our government because we can vote. We Americans often do the same thing with China. Let me give you this example; In a fund raising letter I received from a congressman in Michigan who is also a retired army general, “It is irrefutable that China is responsible for the unchecked spread of the Corona Virus—they need to be held responsible for the havoc they have caused to our nation.” I don’t dispute the veracity of what the general said, but when he says China is responsible, I disagree. China consists of about 1.5 billion people and probably no more than about 500 of them had anything to do with the virus. Most of the 500, and that number is just a guess, are members of the National People’s Congress or the ruling body of the Chinese Communist Party. It would be more accurate and less inflammatory to say the Chinese Communist Party is responsible for the unchecked spread of the corona virus. We would then have a better, and clearer picture of where to put the blame. The Chinese government has a big advantage in these things because it is completely despotic. There are no meaningful elections and the Communist Party selects its own leaders and membership. Any leader anywhere in China from village mayor to Party Chief is a member of the Communist Party. One is either a member or he does not survive very long. During World War ll China and the United States fought as allies against the invading Japanese. The Chinese people suffered horribly under Japanese domination, a great deal of it because of their help for American military forces. Since the end of that war the United States has been in at least a cold war with the stated aims of Global Communism. Keep in mind that neither the Chinese people or the Chinese Government have ever tried an invasion of the United States, but Washington has had its military inside China and killing Chinese people beginning in 1856. I recommend three movies that deal with this subject and all involve characters acting on behalf of Washington, through its military, and all end up wandering why am I here and what am I doing. The three movies are The Sand Pebbles with Steve McQueen, 55 Days at Peking, with Charlton Heston, and The Bridges at Toko-Ri with William Holden. The growing conflict with the Chinese Government has a long history and can be couched in terms of being involved everywhere in the world under the belief that you have a right to be so involved. From the Communist side, the revolutionaries under Mao spent the years 1966 to 1976 trying to destroy capitalism and...

Our New Normal Is Not Normal or Even Necessary
Darrell Castle talks about what the journalists and “experts” describe as the new normal that we are all just going to have to get used to. Transcription/Notes: NEW NORMAL IS NOT NORMAL OR EVEN NECESSARY Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday May 29, 2020 and on this Report I will be talking about what the journalists and “experts” offer us as the new normal that we are just going to have to get used to. Today would be day 70 of house arrest for the Castle family or 10 full weeks without outside human contact, but we are free now having gone back to our Law Office on Tuesday of this week. The family daughter remains marooned on a small island at the bottom of the world but at least she is free of the virus. The return to the office with all my staff has been uneventful so far. The staff voiced no concern or fear at coming out of their homes and into the world. So right now, I have my staff back and all I need are the clients back and we will be at least approaching a state that we once referred to as normal. Sixty-Six days of quarantine which Joan and I faithfully adhered to finally comes to an end as eventually all things do. Strangely, although normal obviously varies from person to person, there are some who believe they know what the future normal will be for all of us and they are not shy about telling us. My hometown newspaper published a long article last Sunday entitled “Our New Normal. “In that article, the writer makes many statements which I presume she believes to be factual and she assumes that her readers will believe them to be factual as well. For example, she writes, “The new normal is not just referring to life after the pandemic, for we have no idea when that day will come. Until we get a COVID-19 vaccine, and it has been proved (sic) effective, the highly contagious coronavirus will be a threat to our health and our lives. It will be a part of our daily lives and consciousness. The sooner we accept and realize this fact, the better off we will be as a people and as a nation.” So, she states that we must accept and realize the “fact” that she gives us. Well, Ms. Norment, I beg to differ and I submit that very little of the long article is fact and a great deal of it is simply the opinion of the writer and possibly the editorial board of the Commercial Appeal. She voices the same level of fear bordering on paranoia that I have seen and heard from many people since this has been going on. The interesting part of all this is that even the once alarmist CDC no longer agrees with Ms. Norment about the terrible long term affects of this virus on our daily lives, possibly forever. It doesn’t seem to matter what anyone says, however, because many strong advocates of long-term lockdown, or lockdowners, if I may use that term, hold that view with religious zealotry. They passionately believe that the end justifies the means and that to leave confinement will expose everyone to an apocalyptic scenario. The CDC in its latest report, which was printed in the New York Times, last Sunday edition, now says that many of the things it told us early on about the dangerous effects of the virus turned out to be incorrect. For example, it now seems that that virus is only transmitted by human contact and through close quarters breathing, coughing, sneezing, etc. and not by touching a doorknob, sink, etc. It also said that the virus is almost impossible to transmit outdoors so there is nothing wrong with going to the beach or for a walk or bicycle ride. To enforce rules against such things in light of this new information must be to exhibit some type of totalitarian psychosis. That is my assessment not that of the CDC. How does that statement fit in with the video images we have all seen of Chinese trucks spraying disinfectant up and down Chinese streets, I don’t know? I will admit that it is hard to make sense of anything these days. Perhaps you are one of the true lockdowners who demand that ...

A Report from the Bluff City – COVID 19 or COVID 1984
Darrell Castle reports what he can see and experience in his city of Memphis, TN each day, and how its people and its government have reacted to the many restrictions placed on the lives of the citizenry and the economy. Transcription/Notes: A REPORT FROM THE BLUFF CITY—COVID 19 OR COVID 1984 Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday May 22, 2020 the Friday before Memorial Day and the start of a three-day weekend when we are supposed to stop for a moment and remember the fallen. This is day 63 of house arrest for the Castle family, nine full weeks of full-fledged quarantine. The family daughter will spend Memorial Day weekend safe from the virus but unable to escape from a small island at the bottom of the world. For the Castle Family Memorial Day just might be the last day of house arrest since we are all scheduled to return to the office on Tuesday. The lock-down response to the virus makes it virtually impossible to celebrate the day as usual. No solemn observance at the veterans’ cemetery which Joan and I usually attend. No family cookouts in the park with children playing while parents eat and talk. It is all very sad but is it necessary? We will look at that question on this Report today. This report is based on what I can see and what I experience in my city each day, and on its people and its government. Memphis Tennessee is more than likely representative of Many other cities so most of us share the same experience. My county of Shelby contains the city of Memphis and several incorporated suburban communities with a total county population of about 1.6 million. One of the first things one might notice in Memphis are the preparations for an event that has not and probably will not happen. For the most part our mayor has done a good job considering his responsibilities. I would not want his job right now and that’s for sure. Let’s consider what he has dealt with and the results of his decisions. I’m certain of why my wife and I are socially distancing and quarantined in our homes. We both meet one or more of the risk categories that make us members of the vulnerable group. I’m not sure and I ask the question of why the children and grandchildren must be quarantined. Why can’t the young go to work to feed their families and why can’t the young enjoy themselves, after all, isn’t there more to life than the mere avoidance of death, which is inevitable for all of us. Today we see only the obvious costs of the lockdown. The destroyed economy, unemployment soaring, destroyed businesses, marriage breakdowns, lives suspended and of course suicides. The worst will come later when the destruction of our currency hits us all. The Memphis daily newspaper is the Commercial Appeal which is still printed but is no longer housed in the gigantic building it occupied before the Internet killed print news. That building is now a massive 401 bed hospital for Covid-19 patients. It was converted to a hospital by the Army Corps of Engineers at a cost of more than $100 million. The Commercial Appeal headlines announced the transformation in glowing terms, and the text explains the types of patients the hospital will care for. There is a picture of the Tennessee governor talking with a Major General from the Corps of Engineers, about the completion of his work. The article admits that there are exactly zero patients in the hospital, and it is hoped that there never will be. I have read through other sources to believe that hospital capacity in Memphis is less than 50% and ICU occupancy is less than that. Doctors have recently returned to performing non-emergency surgery so I imagine the occupancy will increase. Will there ever be a single patient at the new hospital, or will it just sit there manned and ready as a monument to over reaction? The virus and the reaction to it have caused other problems in Memphis as I imagine it has in most places. So far, the Shelby County Health Department has only encouraged ...

Bodyguard of Lies
Darrell Castle talks about the investigation of whether or not Russia colluded with the Trump campaign to influence the 2016 election — now the investigators are being investigated. Transcription / Notes BODYGUARD OF LIES Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday May 15, 2020 and I am happy to say that this Report is not about the virus. For two months it has been all virus all the time but today we return to the world of politics. This is day 56 of house arrest for the Castle family two complete months with only each other, and voices on the telephone for company. The family daughter remains safe on her small island at the bottom of the world. We plan to return to our law office starting Monday but gradually with two people at a time returning, but nevertheless we go back to the world starting Monday. The title of this report comes from a quote from Winston Churchill; “In wartime, truth is so precious it should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies.” Truth is indeed precious in part because it is so rare today. We are fighting and have been fighting for some time a different war than Mr. Churchill’s. Our war is cultural and it is a war intended to destroy our existing culture. I recently heard a lecture from a psychologist who explained that computers have essentially the same function as the human brain in that they both are processors and disseminators of information according to how they are programed. If you enter corrupt data into your computer, it will not perform its functions accurately. It is like the German Enigma code machine that Mr. Churchill referred to in the quote I mentioned. To code messages the Germans designed a machine that scrambled information in a random fashion that was mathematically difficult to unscramble. When the messages attempting to program our brains are false but presented as absolute truth from those we once trusted, our brains are almost certain to process the corrupt data in the wrong way. Today it seems that almost all the programing presented through the mass media is false and the false information is not intended to convey accurate information but to program our brains to think a certain way. For example, President Obama on CBS 60 Minutes, January 25, 2017: “I’m proud of the fact that we are the first administration in modern history that hasn’t had a major scandal in the White House.” The interviewer did not call him on his obvious lapse in memory of fast and furious or the IRS used by Lois Lerner to target and eliminate conservative groups and many other scandals. Perhaps now his perception of political invincibility bolstered by years of media pandering may be coming to an end, and history may have to reveal the truthful story behind his administration. I’ll believe it when I see it, but I am hopeful that the truth can be discovered in court through evidence. On this Report I have limited time and space and can therefore only scratch the surface of the body of lies surrounding the entire scandal commonly known as Russia gate. According to recent tweets from President Trump, it should be known as Obama gate. Why would that title be appropriate; because it is obvious from the evidence that President Obama from the very start met with the group of operatives, he then dispatched to undermine the Trump presidency. This undermining was in fact an attempt at a bloodless coup against the will of the people of the United States to make their own choice in elected officials. Right now, the House of Representatives and especially the Department of Justice (DOJ) directed by Attorney General Bob Barr, are investigating how a three-year campaign commonly known as Russia gate could proceed without a shred of evidence to support it. Please keep in mind that what I am talking about is not just my opinion or some rumor, but evidence presented to congress through thousands of pages of documents and through testimony.

A Journal of the Plague Year – Free Speech and Dr. Judy Mikovits
Darrell Castle discusses the supression of the works of Dr. Judy Mikovits and Dr. Dan Erickson. Transcription / Notes: A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR—FREE SPEECH AND DR. JUDY MIKOVITS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, May 8, 2020, the 75th anniversary of VE or Victory in Europe Day. VE Day is a national holiday in Great Britain as the British people pause for one day to celebrate the defeat of Nazi Germany. Today’s Report, however, will discuss the virus, the invisible enemy against which the whole world makes war, not the visible enemy of WW ll. For the Castle family, this is day 49 or seven weeks of quarantine. Forty-nine days without any other human contact. The family daughter remains safe on a small island at the bottom of the world with no flights in or out of the island for who knows how long. Last week’s Castle Report provoked one of my faithful listeners to accuse me of hypocrisy in the comment section so I might as well address his inquiry right now. His comment was partially in jest but also serious, He pointed out that I favor re-opening the economy for others, but I remain in quarantine. What kind of ex-Marine, Constitution Party member is that he wonders? You tell us to do one thing but do another yourself. I recognize a certain degree of hypocrisy in my position, but as I pointed out to the gentleman both my wife and I are over 65 and we have a law firm with many employees for whom we feel a certain responsibility. We, therefore, transferred the employees to work from home status until it is acceptable to reopen according to our local governing authority. In addition, my daughter encourages me each night by video to stay in and stay safe. Finally, I suppose it’s like the Arab proverb, I trust God, but I still tether my camel each night. For emphasis, I will quote a gentleman from the news site, The Rundown, “I favor opening, but since I have several risk factors in addition to advanced age, I will endeavor to be careful because I don’t think that I would survive if I’m infected with COVID-19. That said, I want my country and my community to survive. We should all be careful, but we should open and not kill the country.” That is not my situation, but it makes my point. Another subscriber to the same site, “I am obeying the stay-at-home order, and I only go out for medication and food, so I’m doing as told. And if I am correct, the airlines plan to get federal money for their problems, but I have no idea where my stimulus check is. Personally, I am not going to rebound from this situation easily, and I’m probably not the only one.” No, my friend you are indeed in good company. The economic cost of the lockdown will be devastating for many and perhaps permanent both economically and medically. U.S. private payrolls dropped 20.2 million in April, the most extreme drop since the Great Depression. I have little doubt that many companies and industries will be permanently destroyed or at least permanently affected. Last Tuesday Hertz Corporation announced that it has hired a company to help it plan for a Chapter 11 filing. That is the proper tactic for a company that depends on travel and there is no travel for months and perhaps a year. What is it to do with billions of debt and no revenue, except seek protection in Chapter 11? How many cars does Hertz operate each day? How many cars does it buy each year? What happens to the car and truck industry if all that activity suddenly stops permanently? Many industries already in trouble are being pushed over the edge by the lockdown. Retail has been, and is being devastated, perhaps permanently. Retail giant J. Crew just announced its liquidation bankruptcy filing, and high-end Neiman Marcus has just filed for Chapter 11 protection and reorganization. According to the trade publications that I read each day, many companies are avoiding Chapter 11 because they do not have the financial ability to reorganize.

A Journal of the Plague Year – The Courage to Do Nothing
Darrell Castle talks about his observation that in this, our Plague Year, we seem to be divided into two alternate realities, and our government lacks the courage to do nothing. Transcription / Notes: A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR—THE COURAGE TO DO NOTHING Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, May 1, 2020, and on this Report, I will be talking about the virus once again, the plague that threatens humanity in many ways. The invisible enemy upon which we wage war. This is Day 42 of House Arrest for the Castle family, so six full weeks we have been confined with only a little time each day for a walk in the sunshine. The family daughter is making do while confined to a small island unable to return until airlines are flying again. I have a friend who went to Argentina for a couple of weeks and is stuck there until at least September 1, since flights both out and in have been banned until then. It is certainly a strange world that we live in today. In some ways it seems that we have different realities inside our heads, or perhaps we live in parallel universes. Fifty years ago, I boarded an airplane at Travis Air Force Base in California and got off in a different world, so just like that I was transported to a different reality. A simple definition of parallel would be two lines running the same direction, but which never intersect. That is a good definition of the two realities that people live in regarding our virus today. Everybody knows by now what the virus is, but we disagree completely on what the national response should be. Unfortunately, our lack of agreement seems to be running along political as well as parallel lines. The two separate views are as follows: 1. View number 1 is that the virus is very scary and extremely serious. It is so serious that if you leave your home you will get sick and possibly die. If you have your lawn mowed by a lawn service, you will get sick. If you get a haircut you will get sick. If you attend church, even six feet apart, you will get sick. Should you have any human contact at all, especially if you are over 65, you will get sick. 2. View number 2 is that the virus, and our reaction to it, is a complete farce. The lockdown is a ridiculous over-reaction akin to mass suicide. We have been turned into lemmings by the government and are now being herded toward the cliff. This lockdown is not about health at all, but is instead, an exercise in mass compliance. There are exceptions to this, but it seems to me that the two realities break down along political lines with the left view being more akin to number one and the right view being more akin to number two. Keep in mind that for most people, whichever view they hold it is their reality. I suppose it doesn’t occur to people that their view could be incorrect and simply held to reinforce a political viewpoint. Upon that political view could rest the national health and economy. In any event, the longer the lockdown continues the more sense view number two makes. I know that hindsight is 20-20, and that it is easy to second guess people in crisis decision making, but let’s look at some of the evidence that we currently have. By its own admission, the CDC sent out faulty tests, including some already contaminated with the virus. Doctors, nurses, and anyone who expressed views opposed to the official narrative of where the virus came from and how serious it is. and would be., were sidelined, fired, marginalized, etc. Many of those people were heroes on the front lines of battle. They were concerned with the welfare of their people rather than politics or money. A recent book, which I can recommend to you, now explains much of the problem. It was written by a doctor named Judy Mikovits, co-authored by a lawyer named Kent Heckenlively, with a forward by Robert Kennedy Jr. The title of the book is “Plague of Corruption”, and it is a very disturbing account. Dr.

A Journal of the Plague Year – Will you Accept Their Mark?
Darrell Castle talks about how the virus and its coming vaccine have aided the final implementation of the total surveillence state. Transcription / Notes: A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR—WILL YOU ACCEPT THEIR MARK? Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 24, 2020, and on this Report I will be talking about the virus, of course. What news is there except the virus, but this report is more about going to sleep in one country and waking up in another. For the Castle family it is day 35 of house arrest, and for the family daughter, she is still stuck on a small island at the bottom of the world, but all are still healthy, and we are grateful for that. My argument for you today is that the world surveillance state has been building for a long time, but the virus has given it the impetus to advance with breathtaking speed. It is now coming into existence before our eyes. The virus is the excuse for allowing the digital world powered by artificial in…

A Journal of the Plague Year – The Cure is Worse Than the Disease
Darrell Castle talks about the virus and asks the question, “Are the cures proposed for the virus worse than the disease itself”. Transcription / Notes Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 17, 2020, and on this Report I will be talking about the virus. What else but the virus and our efforts to fight the World War against our unseen enemy. I want so much to talk about some other issue but there are no issues unrelated to the virus, so it’s all virus, all the time. Here at the Castle household this is day 28 of our house arrest. We are healthy and virus free for now, and so is our daughter, who is still stuck on an island unable to return home for we don’t know how long. The question for today is, “What price victory?”. What will the efforts to fight the virus and to protect us from the virus cost us in terms of money, but more importantly, in terms of human freedom. Will a long-term lockdown save us from the virus, or will it ca…

A Journal of the Plague Year – Are the Numbers Bogus?
Darrell Castle talks about how the Center for Disease Control (CDC) may have influenced the infection and death numbers through flawed testing. Transcription / Notes A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR—ARE THE NUMBERS BOGUS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 10, 2020, Good Friday or the Friday before Easter, so I bring you good news today, or at least I have chosen to call it good. The news is the virus all the time, all news is virus news. This is the 21st day of quarantine for the Castle family. It’s been 21 days since we met another human being face to face let alone shake hands with someone. We are allowed out once per day for exercise, which is usually a brisk walk around our neighborhood while giving all other walkers a wide birth. The family daughter, stuck on a small island at the bottom of the world managed to survive a category 5 cyclone that ravaged her island, but she and her husband are currently in cleanup mode, so we are grat…

A Journal of the Plague Year – A Terrible Choice
Darrell Castle talks about the war on the virus, how the world’s economies have shut down, the United States has intentionally put itself into negative GDP to fight it, and now faces a terrible choice. Transcription / Notes: A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR—A TERRIBLE CHOICE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 3, 2020, and on this Report I will be talking about the virus because nothing else is happening anywhere except the War on the Virus. The world’s economies shut down and the United States intentionally puts itself into negative GDP in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. It seems to be a World War against an enemy so small only an electron microscope can see it. Here at the Castle Household we are in day 14 of quarantine, or day 14 of Castles held hostage. I guess that means Joan and I do not have the virus although I’ve seen reports of symptoms waiting a few more days to manifest. Nevertheless, we are grateful that we and…

A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR – QUARANTINED
Darrell Castle talks about being quarantined at home because of the virus and what that means for the country as a whole. Transcription/Notes A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR—QUARANTINED Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 27, 2020, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the virus, the plague that we are all worried about. The virus that occupies much of our time 24/7. We think constantly of ways to avoid it, and ways to lessen its effects, if we are unable to avoid it. I am working from home this week as I have been ordered here by a decree from Caesar, who has decreed that we must all return to our place of domicile in order that we may be registered. The other members of my law firm are also obeying the decree to stay home, but we struggle to meet the needs of clients anyway and to keep the firm operating under these plague conditions. For me this is Day 7 of life in quarantine, or Castles Held Hostage Day 7. Joan and I are in a…

A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR — REDUX
Darrell Castle talks about the plague year and the virus that is so disrupting American society. Transcription / Notes A JOURNAL OF THE PLAGUE YEAR—REDUX Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 20, 2020, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the plague year that we are currently in. The virus that the World Health Organization (WHO) tells us should be called Covid-19, which is a politically correct term to keep us from labeling it Wuhan flu, Kung-flu or some other such name. Those names are all racist in today’s world so we can’t use them. For our purposes, I will refer to it as Coronavirus, or simply the virus, even though I know that name is not specific enough to be technically correct. The title of today’s Report was taken from Daniel Defoe’s book “A Journal of the Plague Year”, published in 1725 by Daniel Defoe. I first read Mr. Defoe’s book in high school, but it is a stark reminder that what we are going throug…

The New Sultan
Darrell Castle talks about a new Sultan, a new Ottoman dictator who has arisen in the Middle East. Transcription / Notes: THE NEW SULTAN Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 13, 2020, and there are many things, including a novel virus at large in the world that makes me think Friday the 13th really is unlucky, but I know that God controls the universe so today, on this Friday the 13th we talk not about the virus, but about a new Sultan, a new Ottoman dictator who has arisen in the Middle East. The Ottoman Empire, established in the year 1299, lasted for 624 years until it was finally dissolved by World War l and Great Britain in 1923. The Empire became one of the most powerful in the world, but it was cut down to size by the war and by Great Britain, becoming the Republic of Turkey. The first leader of Turkey was Kemal Ataturk, and his influence, to some extent, is still felt in the Middle East today. The Turks recently celebrated his rei…

Darrell Castle talks about the agreement for the withdrawal of American troops, signed February 29th, 2020, between the Trump Administration and officials representing the Taliban fighters of Afghanistan. Transcription/Notes AFGHANISTAN EXIT Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday March 6, 2020, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the agreement, signed February 29, 2020, between the Trump Administration and officials representing the Taliban. A better name for this Report “Afghanistan Exit” might be “Gimme Three Steps”, like the old song by Lynyrd Skynyrd but that wouldn’t help me on Google. It would probably be incorrect to call this a peace deal since it is a deal which simply allows the U.S. to leave Afghanistan. Peace? Well, maybe there will be peace after U.S. troops leave but, if so, that would be an interruption of the last 200 years or so in that country. Afghanistan has been continually at war, nonstop for 40 years, and…

Den of Thieves
Darrell Castle talks about the Democrat candidates and emphasizes front runner, Bernie Sanders and his call for Socialism in America. Transcription / Notes DEN OF THIEVES Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday February 28, 2020 and on today’s Report I will be talking about the Democrat candidates at least the ones still allowed to stand on the debate stage and since Bernie Sanders is apparently the frontrunner, my emphasis will be on him. I devoted a previous Report to Mr. Sanders during his candidacy in 2016 entitled, “The Democratic Socialism of Bernie Sanders”. Click the link to listen to that podcast, if you are so inclined. My own observation is that since then the Democrat Party has morphed into something unrecognizable. Is this the Party of working people, the Party of JFK? No, it is now a Party of wealthy elitists who sneer and look down their noses at ordinary people. I mentioned before that Mr. Sanders r…

Michael Bloomberg – Too Rich To Ignore
Darrell Castle talks about Michael Bloomberg, who has now forced or bought his way into the Democratic debates, and is suddenly a very legitimate candidate for the Democrat Party’s Nomination. Transcription / Notes MICHAEL BLOOMBERG—TOO RICH TO IGNORE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 21, 2020, and on today’s Report I will be looking at Michael Bloomberg, who has now forced or bought his way into the Democratic debates and is suddenly a very legitimate candidate for the Democrat Party’s nomination. Who is this man, Michael Bloomberg, and where did he come from? Mr. Bloomberg insists that we look at him and he is willing to pay dearly for our attention. Since the debate last Wednesday night, I have been seeing commercials for Mr. Bloomberg in which Barack Obama appears with him. I suppose that means the Obama—Clinton team are all in with Bloomberg and all out with current frontrunner Sanders. President Obama said he would int…

Darrell Castle talks about a few items in the President’s budget proposal delivered to Congress on February 10, 2020. Transcription / Notes PRESIDENT TRUMP’S 2020 BUDGET Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 14, 2020, and on this Report I will take the time I have with you to talk about a few items in the President’s budget proposal delivered to Congress last Monday. A letter of explanation accompanied the budget proposal. In his letter the President reviewed many of the things he considers to be accomplishments during his first term, and he closed with a call for unity; “We must work together to renew the bonds of love and loyalty that link us to one another—as friends, as citizens, as neighbors, as patriots, and as Americans.” Nancy Pelosi and the other Democrats in Congress probably got a good laugh out of his call for love and loyalty. I can’t remember a time in my life when there was less love between those in politics,…

Wuhan Flu – A Highly Resistant Mutant Superbug
Darrell Castle once again talks about 2019nCOV, commonly known as Wuhan Flu. Transcription / Notes WUHAN FLU—A HIGHLY RESISTANT MUTANT SUPERBUG Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 7, 2020, and for today’s Report I have decided to once again talk about what is, or at least should be, the most important story on earth, and that is 2019nCOV, commonly known as Wuhan Flu. The World Health Organization (WHO) no longer names diseases or pathogens after people or places thus the scientific name. The name, when broken down, means discovered in 2019, it is novel or new, and it is a Corona virus. This story changed completely a few days ago when the website Zero Hedge released a report entitled “Is This the Man Behind the Global Coronavirus Pandemic?” Zero Hedge is a well-respected web site not given to exaggeration, but the post was taken down by the various tech giants and Twitter suspended their account. It seems that the official narra…

Transcript / Notes: GEOPOLITICS AND THE WUHAN FLU Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, January 31, 2020, and on this Report I will be talking about China, the United States, the Wuhan Flu, and how they seem to relate in today’s world. Please keep in mind that this story changes daily, hourly and sometimes even minute by minute, so by the time you hear it the numbers have already changed. Please keep in mind as well that I’m not a doctor or scientist but I can read. I can read, and therefore can read the reports of people who live or have recently lived in China, and I can read the reports of the (Communicable Disease Center) CDC and other health agencies. I can call people in government or the military that I know personally who have spent part of their careers working with China and, finally, I can talk to neighbors who are of…

Transcript / Notes RISE TO REBELLION Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, January 24, 2020, and today I will be talking about the Rebellion of the people of the Commonwealth of Virginia to the new Democrat Governor’s and Legislature’s actual and proposed anti-self-defense laws. The people of Virginia recently elected Democrat majorities in both houses of the legislature, plus they also elected Democrat Governor Ralph Northam. The Democrats promised to move for stricter gun regulations, including possible confiscation for non-compliance, and once in office attempted to fulfill their promises. Senate Bill 16 would impose five years imprisonment on law-abiding citizens who possess some of the most common firearms in America. Under this proposed new law, people othe…

The Crash of Flight 752
Darrell Castle talks about the crash of Ukrainian International Airlines Flight 752, as well as the desperate conditions inside Iran. Transcript / Notes THE CRASH OF FLIGHT 752 Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, January 17, 2020, and today I will be talking about the crash, or more accurately, the shooting down, of Ukrainian International Airlines Flight 752. The flight took off from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport, and just about five minutes later, the Boeing 737-800 exploded in flight. No one argues about that, but what caused the explosion and crash, people do argue about. Initially, the Iranian government claimed the crash was an accident due to engine failure, so the first reaction of the Iranian Regime was to lie. I suppose the lie was to avoid international criticism, but also perhaps because that’s just what governments do. The minute I heard about it I was certain of the cause. The Iranians shot it down by mistake and…

Transcription/Notes: TRUMP AND THE GENERAL Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, January 10, 2020, and on this Report I will be talking about the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani by a Hellfire missile fired from a U.S. drone. The attack, apparently personally ordered by President Trump, occurred at the Baghdad airport where the General had just arrived on a flight from Tehran, Iran. He was there to meet with an Iraqi named Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis who had personally planned and led the blockade attacks against the U.S. Embassy. Keep in mind that the situation is fluid and changing as I speak. A brief background to this story tells us that first an American civilian contractor was killed and several U.S. soldiers wounded in a rocket attack on an Iraqi base near KirKuk in Iraqi Kurdistan. In response, Presid…

This week I began physical therapy and I can now bear some weight on my leg so thanks for bearing with me and thanks for the prayers and well wishes. How The Republic Became a Monarchy – Part 1
Darrell Castle talks about how the U. S. power structure was fundamentally altered to allow the end of our republican form of government. This is a review of a timeless topic from the “best of” archives while Darrell continues to recover from knee surgery. Transcription / Notes FROM JEFFERSON TO WILSON How did the United States change from the republic envisioned by the framers into a monarchy with its royal court that it has become today? I started thinking about this when I was analyzing the State of the Union speech given by President Barack Obama recently and I decided to go back and look at State of the Union speeches given in the past. What I found was that Thomas Jefferson, when he became President, decided not to give a State of the Union speech at all because he thought that walking out in front of a joint session of Congress reminded him of the British monarchy that the country had gone through a war to be rid of. Instead of a speech, he wrote a letter to Congress, inte…

Mr. Gorbachev, Tear Down This Wall!
Darrell Castle talks about the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and why it is still relevant today. Transcription / Notes MR. GORBACHEV, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 15, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall 30 years ago this week, and why it is still relevant today. On November 9, 1989, thousands of East Germans imprisoned by the Soviet System for more than four decades began the process of tearing down the wall, just as Ronald Reagan had encouraged them to do in 1987. I remember watching it on television as if it were yesterday. Another U.S. President went to Berlin in 1963 just two years after the wall was built and made a similar speech as a way of encouraging and showing solidarity with people imprisoned by that terrible regime. President Kennedy spoke outdoors, near the wall.hundreds of thousands of people on the eas…

Transcription / Notes THE CIA BRINGS REGIME CHANGE TO AMERICA Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 8, 2019, and on this Report I will be talking about the CIA’s efforts to execute regime change in America, as they have in so many foreign countries, but first I want to at least mention that Sunday November 10th is the Marine Corps birthday and Monday the 11th is Veterans Day. I honor them wherever they are. This Report is not good news or happy news today but it is the truth as far as I am able to determine it. There has been and is ongoing a great battle for the heart and soul of America. This battle has been raging for many years but when it first began is anyone’s guess. The long and short of it is that the Deep State won and the American people lost. This was the big war, perhaps the most important one ever fought by America…

Darrell Castle discusses the Great Crash on its 90th anniversary in the hope that by examining the past we can learn something about the present and the future. Today is Friday November 1, 2019 and there are so many things we could talk about today, because so many events are happening in our current world, but instead we journey back 90 years. We look at the Great Crash on its 90th anniversary in the hope that by examining the past and its great events, we can learn something about the present and the great events of the future. Yes, it has been 90 years since the stock market crashed, sending the U.S. economy into depression. So what have we learned? That is the question for today. In August 1929 investors in the stock market were having the time of their lives, but just two months later they were jumping to their deaths from Wall Street high rises. The stock market wa…

Today is Friday, October 25, 2019, and on this Report I will once again be talking about Tulsi Gabbard, whose feud with Hillary Clinton knocked Syria off the front pages at least for this week. Sometimes people comment or send me emails questioning whither I have some weird relationship with Tulsi because I occasionally speak highly of her. The answer to that question is no I have never in my life met her or even set eyes on her as far as I know, and furthermore I am aware of the downside risk of someone with the economic philosophy of Tulsi in control of our credit based centralized economy. Having given you that disclaimer we move on. She is simply the one and only Democrat candidate for President who occasionally tells the truth which makes her a target for establishment Demo…

Impeachment – A Generational Opportunity
Darrell Castle discusses efforts by politicians in the Democrat Party to impeach and remove from office, the President of the United States. Today is Friday, October 4. 2019, and on today’s Report I want to discuss efforts by politicians in the Democrat Party to impeach and remove from office the President of the United States. From the moment of President Trump’s election the Democrats assisted by the American media and the Hollywood elite have been waging an ongoing coup against him and what he symbolizes. The seditious coup has relied on lies and deception to the FISA Court for the entirety of the Trump Presidency. They first tried a Russia collusion hoax which had the advantage of providing cover for their own collusion with Russia, but after more than two years of investigation by their special prosecutor they had not one shred of evidence. Today is Friday, September 27, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be taking at look at the person who is currently the apparent frontrunner for the Democrat nomination, Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts. From a professional standpoint I encountered her many years ago through her work in the bankruptcy area of the profession of law. She has written, chaired committees, and generally been a respected authority in that area for several years. Senator Warren is perhaps the brightest and most articulate of the Democrat candidates with the possible exception of Tulsi. Strategic mistakes were made in her campaign that nearly killed it early on, but she brought it back from the dead and has emer…

Transcription / Notes THERE’S ONLY ONE ENEMY AND THAT’S IRAN Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday September 20, 2019, and on this Report I would like to spend our time discussing the recent attacks on the Saudi oil fields and what that means, or could mean, for the United States and the world. The attack was eerily familiar, especially coming so close to the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, so close to the dismissal of John Bolton, so close to the President’s talks with Iran, and so close to the Israeli elections. Whatever the cause of this attack, and whoever did it, another big war seems like a real possibility. That real possibility has caused me to wonder I could get this Report finished before Armageddon. That sounds like an intentional exaggeration but if Russia became involved which seems li…

Today is Friday, September 13, 2019, and that means its Friday the 13th, perhaps a very unlucky day, but we shall see. I had the opportunity to listen to some of the discussion put on by CNN with the Climate Change Forum, whereby the Democrat candidates for president went to a 7 hour long forum and were asked questions by a selected few audience members. Seven hours is a long time and not many could endure that, but I was able to at least get through some of the questions and answers for Bernie Sanders and in this report I will endeavor to respond to one particular question and Senator Sanders’ response. Senator Sanders was questioned by a young woman and although I could not see her I could tell from her voice that she was young. Her question and the way she phr…

Today is Friday September 6, 2019, and on this Report I will be talking about The National Suicide Data Report issued last Monday by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Lots of rumors have been circulating in the veteran communities concerning suicide and the shocking number of 22 per day has gotten people’s attention, so I decided to look into this report and see if I could determine what its conclusions actually were. The VA now says that the average daily number of veteran suicides has always included deaths of active duty service members, and members of the National Guard and Reserve, not just veterans. The new report includes data from 2005 through 2015. Much of the reported information is basically the same as two years ago when statistics were reported thr…

Today is Friday, August 30, 2019, and today I will begin the debate process concerning socialism v. capitalism. I believe that the 2020 presidential campaign will be a debate between those who advocate socialism and those who advocate capitalism, and to that end, this Report will from time to time enter that debate. I will begin with a quote from Winston Churchill, “The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings. The inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.” That quote from Mr. Churchill is from a speech before the House of Commons given on October 22, 1945. He had just brought Great Britain successfully through the most terrible war in human history and was seeking reelection as Prime Minister. Mr.…

Darrell Castle talks about Jeffrey Epstein from a Different Perspective. MISINFORMATION-DISINFORMATION Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, August 23, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be using the time I have with you to talk about the Jeffrey Epstein case. It has been my decision all along to not discuss the case because it has become so talked about it is almost common knowledge, but last Sunday, the New York Times changed my mind. The Sunday print edition of the NYT carried an article that began on the front page and continued as a full page 18. The article entitled “Epstein Feared Misery of Jail In Final Days” was well written by three NYT writers, in the fine fashion we have come to expect from the world’s greatest newspaper. The article immediately caught my eye because it was a detailed explanation of the last days and hours of Mr. Epstein’s life from the NYT point of view. I will admit that I had an opinion about the death befo…

Darrell Castle talks about American sanctions placed on other countries, as well as some of the effects of those sanctions. Transcription / Notes STRANGLING PEOPLE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, August 16, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about American economic sanctions placed on other countries, as well as some of the effects of those sanctions. Economic sanctions are acts of economic warfare previously reserved for conduct between warring powers where war has actually been declared. They are a way, short of military conflict, for one nation to impose its will on another. For example, the British sanctioned, embargoed, and blockaded Germany after declaring war in 1939 and Germany responded in kind by imposing a U-boat blockade of Great Britain. Those nations were officially at war and therefore claimed that war as the legal authority to conduct economic warfare against each other. What then gives the United States the lega…

Why Did the United States Withdraw from the INF Treaty?
Darrell Castle talks about why the Trump Administration chose to withdraw the United States from the Intermediate Nuclear Forces Treaty , a treaty with Russia that has been in effect for 22 years. Transcription / Notes WHY DID THE UNITED STATES WITHDRAW FROM THE INF TREATY? Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, August 9th, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about why the Trump Administration chose to withdraw the United States from the Intermediate Nuclear Forces Treaty or (INF), a treaty with Russia that had been in effect for 22 years. Yes, we will take a foreign policy look today in hopes that the killing abroad will drive away thoughts of the killing at home, at least for a few minutes. I try to use logic and apply it to what the world leaders are publicly saying in order to gain some perspective of what is really happening in the world and then come to some conclusion given the evidence that I have. The INF Treaty was painstak…

Darrell Castle talks about the war against rats being fought in the cities of America especially Baltimore, Maryland. Transcription / Notes: RAT WARS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, August 2, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the war against rats being fought in the cities of America, especially Baltimore Maryland. This started when Representative Elijah Cummings, a Democrat Congressman representing Baltimore, went to the southern border of the United States and made some derogatory comments about conditions at the border. In this particular case, he had a legitimate reason to go to the border since he is a member of a congressional committee with oversight of the border. I often raise the question, however, of what makes members of Congress into national figures. I believe he was elected to represent the people of Baltimore Maryland in the Congress of the United States, not to be a national spokesperson for illegal immig…

Is Our Current Congress the Worst Ever?
Darrell Castle talks about our current Congress and gives his reasons why he thinks this Congress is the “WOAT” – the Worst Of All Time. Transcription / Notes: Is Our Current Congress the Worst Ever? Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, July 26, 2019, and on today’s Report I will try to make the case that this current Congress of the United States, the representatives of the people of this nation, the people’s house, is perhaps the worst ever. In professional sports, it is currently in vogue to debate the question of who is the GOAT in that particular sport with the word “GOAT” an acronym for Greatest Of All Time — who is the greatest of all time in the NBA, the NFL, in MLB so on and so forth. No One bothers to debate who is the WOAT or the worst of all time because I suppose it would be in poor taste but it is still of interest to me. I am going to apply the world of sports to the world of government and ask, could this congress…

One Giant Leap, But What Now?
Darrell Castle talks about the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s walk on the moon and asks if President Kennedy would recognize the country today. Transcription / Notes ONE GIANT LEAP, BUT WHAT NOW Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, July 19, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about and remembering the Apollo 11 mission which has its 50th anniversary this week. Fifty years ago tomorrow, July 20, 1969 Neil Armstrong did what no human had ever done before; he stepped from the Eagle’s ladder onto the surface of the moon. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the two astronauts who undocked the Eagle from the command module and Armstrong as pilot flew the ship to the area on the moon known as the Sea of Tranquility. I remember the events like they happened yesterday since I was, as was most of the human race, glued to my television for the entire mission. It was touch and go there for a while because the landing area was thought t…

Who Can Clean America’s Augean Stables
Darrell Castle talks about the criminal case and investigation against Jeffrey Epstein, currently ongoing by the U.S. Attorney, Division of Public Corruption in the Southern District of New York. WHO CAN CLEAN AMERICA’S AUGEAN STABLES Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, July 12, 2019, and on today’s report I will be talking about the Fifth of Hercules’ twelve labors. No, not really, this Report is not about Greek Mythology and its actual subject is, unfortunately,, not a myth. The actual subject is the premise that when a nation reaches the level of accepting child rape from those in high places, it is in the bottom of the pit. In the mythology of Ancient Greece, Hercules was a demi god meaning he was the result of a union between the God Zeus and a mortal woman. It seems that Zeus deceived the poor woman into thinking that he was her mortal husband, but another woman the goddess Hera was enamored with Zeus and therefore hated Hercules. Sh…

Tulsi – At Least A Partially Sensible Candidate
Darrell Castle discusses the Democrat candidates for President and the answers they gave in the recent debate. Transcript / Notes TULSI—AT LEAST A PARTIALLY SENSIBLE CANDIDATE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, July 5, 2019, the Friday after the 4th of July, which, is of course Independence Day. We celebrate Independence Day, or should I say some of us celebrate it because we honor our country and its 243 years as an independent nation. We remember the 243 years and the blood, and hard labor that it has taken to preserve it. On today’s Report I will be talking about the debates recently held by the Democrat Party between its 20 candidates for the office of President of the United States of America. The Democrats have so many candidates running for their nomination they have to take two nights to give them all a chance to be heard. I would guess that the movers and shakers in that Party wish that a few of them would just go away but in t…

Liberally Progressive Cities
Darrell Castle talks about what it means to be a liberally progressive city in 2019. LIBERALLY PROGRESSIVE CITIES Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, June 28, 2019, and on this Report I will be talking about what it means to be a liberally progressive city here in 2019. I will talk about what the term progressive means in general since I often ask myself, “what does that mean, progressive, and what are we supposedly progressing toward”. I wonder, and I ponder, the meaning of the terms that are supposed to describe those who live there. The idea for this Report actually came from the world of politics and the world of football, but ironically the same liberally progressive city. I read a football story a few days ago about a player who was taken number two in this year’s NFL draft by the San Francisco 49ers. The unusual thing about the player is that he once reportedly said something derogatory about a well known former 49er player and some…

In Vino Veritas – Wine Brings Truth
Darrell Castle talks about the victory of Gibson’s Bakery over Oberlin College and how truth was revealed through a bottle of wine. IN VINO VERITAS—WINE BRINGS TRUTH Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, June 21, 2019, and on this Report I will be talking about how truth sometimes does come from a bottle of wine, as the Latin title translates. The legal battle between Oberlin College and Gibson’s Bakery is the real subject for today as well as how truth was revealed in that case through a bottle of wine. Oberlin College is a private liberal arts college and conservatory of music in Oberlin, Ohio. It is the oldest co-educational liberal arts college in the United States, having been founded in 1835. It claims to be the first college to admit women and the first to admit African Americans, and today it is described on Wikipedia as “known for its progressive student activism.” The other side of the case we are talking about is Gibson’s Bak…

Human Sexuality – It’s Kind of Important
Darrell Castle talks about how human sexuality is degraded and used as a weapon against Christian Civilization. Transcription / Notes HUMAN SEXUALITY—IT’S KIND OF IMPORTANT Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, June 14, 2019, and on this Report I will be talking about a subject that is very dear to most of us. Yes, human sexuality is kind of important, but right along with it in terms of importance is human civilization. The degrading of human sexuality is just one of the many termites eating away at the foundations of human civilization. Obscenity and pornography, both tools of the termites, are perversions of the sexuality given to humanity by God. Sexuality, when used as a destructive weapon, is very effective because it appeals to our base and uncivilized nature. Civilization is in fact far too important for those of us who remain civilized, to have turned it over to a bunch of uncivilized people to set the agenda under which we must live,…

Abortion and Eugenics
Darrell Castle talks about the recent Supreme Court opinion in the case of Box v. Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky. Transcription / Notes ABORTION AND EUGENICS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, June 7, 2019, and on this Report I will be talking about the United States Supreme Court’s decision in the case of Box v. Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky. The Supreme Court reversed in part a ruling from the 7th Circuit which favored Planned Parenthood, but left the 2nd part of the 7th Circuit ruling intact. In 2016, Indiana passed a law that forbade Planned Parenthood from disposing of fetal remains as “infectious waste.” Yes, that’s how they referred to the bodies of the babies they killed, infectious waste. The state law said that from now on the remains have to be treated with respect, dignity and properly buried. The second part of the Indiana law prohibited abortions on the basis of race, disabil…

The Age of Insanity
Darrell Castle talks about the insanity of warfare as a foreign policy strategy against people who have not harmed the United States. Transcription / Notes THE AGE OF INSANITY Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, May 31, 2019, the last Friday of May, and on this report I will be talking about what I call insanity, because it makes no sense to me. It should make no sense to anyone but to those whose brains are wired to a certain end, I suppose that ripping apart the fabric of civilization in the pursuit of raw political power makes some degree of sense. May is the 50th anniversary of the Battle for Hamburger Hill and my local newspaper, the Memphis Commercial Appeal, did a special report on that battle. “As Americans this weekend memorialize the casualties of our war dead, a small band of U.S. soldiers of the 101st airborne division will recall in their collective memories that they were comrades’ in-arms of a famous battle during the Vietn…

A Hero’s Journey – Part 2
Darrell Castle continues with part two of A Hero’s Journey leading into Memorial Day. Transcription / Notes A HERO’S JOURNEY—PART TWO Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday May 24, 2019 the Friday before Memorial Day, just a three day weekend for most people but for us a chance to pause and remember. To that end we continue with part two of our Hero’s Journey to honor some of those who fought World War Two, and made that hero’s journey. The early days of World War Two were desperate times for the naval and marine aviators trying to defend their ships from attack in the pacific. The only fighter aircraft they had for the first 15 months or so of the war was the F4F Wildcat which was vastly inferior to its main opponent the Japanese zero. The Wildcat did not have automatically retractable landing so the gear had to be manually retracted by the pilot turning a crank in the cockpit that operated a set of wheels and pulleys. It was less agile,…

A Hero’s Journey – Part 1
Darrell Castle pays tribute to the Tokyo Raiders and their leader, Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle and explains why it is important to remember them as we approach Memorial Day. Transcript / Notes A HERO’S JOURNEY—PART ONE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, May 17, 2019, and on this Report I will begin the first part of a two part Report as a lead in to Memorial Day coming up on Monday May 27th. The two part series will concentrate on the stories of those who fought World War ll; one, because those men deserve it; and 2, because history is vitally important and the stories of what those men did unfortunately often die with them. It’s a different world now than the world of the World War ll veterans. It was simpler then because we knew who we were and we knew that we had something worth killing and dying for. In mythology, the hero’s journey, involves the tales of a hero who goes on an adventure, and in a decisive crises wins a victory an…

War – Economic and Psychological – For Now
Darrell Castle talks about the economic and psychological warfare currently being conducted against Iran and asks who is really in charge of this government. Note: Just because I am critical of American foreign policy does not mean that I want some other government to prevail in this struggle. Transcription / Notes WAR—ECONOMIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL—FOR NOW Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, May 10th 2019, and on this Report I will be taking you back to the Middle East since that seems to be where the action is this week. You probably remember that early in his term President Trump canceled the Iran deal negotiated by the Obama Administration. In addition to canceling the deal he re-imposed economic sanctions that severely curtailed Iran’s ability to sell its oil on the world market. The sale of oil is 40% of the Iranian GDP so preventing its sale is a crippling blow to the Iranian economy. The President did leave Iran a way out however, by g…

Why History Is Important
Darrell Castle discusses why history is important and why so many seek to control and rewrite it. Transcription / Notes WHY HISTORY IS IMPORTANT Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 26, 2019, and on this Report I will be talking History, and why it is important, and why so many who also apparently think it’s important seek to control and re-write it until it suits their world view. The Oxford English Dictionary defines the word history as having evolved from an ancient Greek verb that means “to know”. The Greek word historia originally meant inquiry, the act of seeking knowledge, as well as the knowledge that results. If one accepts that definition then the reason for rewriting history to suit today’s ideology becomes apparent and that is to control us and our destiny by controlling who we think we are. Control of culture determines whose group or what group will dominate and determine what is known and believed and what is left unk…

Who Is Really Blind
Darrell Castle talks about the Notre Dame Cathedral fire, the arrest of Julian Assange, and the Blind Man’s Matrix of 2019. Transcription / Notes WHO IS REALLY BLIND Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 19, 2019, and on this Report I first want to mention that this is Good Friday, or the Friday before Easter. There is not much good news in this Report, however, because as King Solomon told us about 3000 years ago, there is nothing new under the sun. Said in today’s vernacular, the expression would be’ the more things seem to change, the more they stay the same”. Solomon told us that he had everything and had tried everything. He had more than 1000 women at his beck and call. He was considered the richest man in the world as well as the wisest. People come from all over the world to see his treasures and partake of his wisdom but none of it was enough. Vanity, vanity all is vanity he told us when he searched for green grass but found…

The Things We Say
Darrell Castle talks about the politically correct movement and how it determines what we think by controlling what we say and the words we use to say it. Transcription / Notes THE THINGS WE SAY Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 12, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about one of the many termites eating away at the foundation of Western Civilization, and that is the Politically Correct movement, specifically how that movement affects our right to speak freely. A recent quote from Paul Craig Roberts says it well: “I can remember when words now said to be offensive gave no offense to anyone. What has happened is that people have been taught to regard the words as offensive.” I do not believe that the people who push the politically correct agenda on us have good intentions. Their intentions are the opposite of good because they want to change the way we think, the way we see reality by changing the words we us…

Tyranny and Hypocrisy in the 21st Century
Darrell Castle talks about the West’s destruction of Christianity and its continual slide into tyranny. Transcription / Notes TYRANNY AND HYPOCRISY IN THE 21ST CENTURY Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 5, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the West’s continual slide into tyranny and the continued destruction of Western Civilization, as well as offering some explanations for that slide. It seems obvious to me that Western governments are constantly reaching for more and more power and control over their nations, their citizens. They must have the power to rule and regulate every tiny aspect of their people’s lives in order to serve as a replacement for the God they think they have destroyed. Today, their dominion and power is almost absolute. There are only two forms of repression. One form is internal and the other form is external; religious repression and political repression. I was first exposed to this th…

Transcription / Notes: MUELLER TIME Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. ,Today is Friday, March 29, 2019, and on this Report I will be talking about special counsel Robert Mueller’s report of his investigation into whether or not the Trump campaign, and specifically the President, colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 Presidential election. ,I know that by now everyone of you knows about the report and its basic content, but perhaps I can touch on a few things that are different from what you may have heard. Special Counsel Robert Mueller was appointed in May 2017 so the investigation took 674 days and cost the taxpayers $25 million. The conclusion that there was no evidence that Donald Trump colluded with Russia was, or should have been, evident from the beginning. It was a “h…

Transcription / Notes: MATTEO SALVINI—MANY ENEMIES, MUCH HONOR Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 22, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about Matteo Salvini, the deputy prime minister of Italy, and the extraordinary courage he has shown in his efforts to curtail illegal migration into Italy primarily from Africa and the Middle East. The title of this Report is a recent quote from Mr. Salvini and it reflects his approach to his work. He believes that his enemies give him a chance to honor his promises and his love of Italy and the Italian people. Let’s take a look at who this man is and how he came to be in a position of such importance to Italy and to the world today. He is important among the world’s politicians because against overwhelming opposition he stuck his finger i…

The Death of Irish Catholicism
Darrell Castle talks about the destruction of Irish Catholicism and the faith of the Irish people caused by the abuse of Irish children. Transcript / Notes THE DEATH OF IRISH CATHOLICISM Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 15, 2019, and since this coming Sunday is St. Patrick’s Day, I will be talking about Ireland, with the goal of uncovering what is going on there. What is happening on the Emerald Isle with regard to the Catholic faith and what has caused it to happen. St. Patrick’s Day brings back a lot of memories to me, especially of the friends I knew during my military service who were of Irish descent. We were all young, around 22 or 23 years old, and while I was stationed at Quantico near Washington D.C. we used to take the Eastern Shuttle up to New York or Boston for St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Those Irish guys were always a lot of fun but a word of caution is in order. My advice is to be very cautious about going out on St. P…

Transcript/Notes TECH TYRANTS When I was in law school in the mid to late 1970’s, we had a course called Antitrust and one of our most respected law professors taught that subject. He used to tell us stories of how he spent 20 years working for the government on the case of U.S. v. DuPont and how that case eventually forced DuPont to break apart. Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday March 8, 2019 and on this Report I will be talking about the continuing efforts of the Tech Tyrants as they use their information monopolies to censor anyone and everyone they happen to disagree with. Empire of Lies
Darrell Castle talks about the lies and distortions that have made this a bad year for the mass media along with the failure of our political leadership to defend our civilization. Transcription / Notes EMPIRE OF LIES Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 1, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about some of the lies and distortions that have so far made this a bad year for the mass media. The media may be having a bad year because it publishes lies and distortions, but this society often rewards liars and punishes truth tellers. Let’s start with the story of a 7 year old black girl from Houston Texas who was murdered earlier this year. Initially the reports were that she was murdered by two white racists in a red pickup truck. The usual stereotypes of what a white racist is supposed to look like and be like were all there and the media just bought it hook, line, and sinker probably because it fit and advanced their own pre-…

Transcription / Notes VICTIMS Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 22, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about what it means to be a victim and the fact that being a victim is apparently so desirable and advantageous that hardly a day goes by that we don’t have another victim on the national scene. In the Oxford English Dictionary the word victim is defined as “ A person killed or tortured by another; a person subjected to cruelty, oppression, or other harsh or unfair treatment or suffering death, injury, ruin, etc., as a result of an event, circumstance, or oppressive or adverse impersonal agency; a person who is taken advantage of; a dupe.” That’s a pretty terrible definition isn’t it? One wonders then, why so many people pursue victimhood with such vigor. Som…

Socialism — Theft by Majority Vote
Darrell Castle presents the essence of socialism and its current vehicle, the Green New Deal. Transcript / Notes SOCIALISM—THEFT BY MAJORITY VOTE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 15, 2019, and in the time I have with you today I will be talking about socialism and its new vehicle, the Green New Deal (GND). Socialism is an economic system whereby the government owns the means of production and eliminates private property in most cases. Rather than a company having stockholders with a board of directors who answer to them it has the government with its central planning mechanism directing what is produced and what is not, and more importantly government bureaucracy directs where that produced material will go. The objective is virtually impossible to make sustainable over time without disastrous results for the entire society. Why would anyone think that some central planning mechanism could determine how much paint, lumber, concrete…

The State of the Union – A Tough Act To Follow
Darrell Castle talks about President Trump’s State of the Union Message as well as the Democrat response to it. Transcription / Notes THE STATE OF THE UNION—A TOUGH ACT TO FOLLOW Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 8, 2019, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the President’s State of the Union Message delivered before Congress and the American people. I say that it was a tough act to follow because the Democrats did not follow it very well and did not rebut it at all. They even tried to downplay their own polls because they clearly show overwhelming support by the American people who watched the speech. This SOTU message was a good one, as these things usually go; maybe it was even a great one. The speech was remarkable in many ways. He seemed to be having a conversation with us rather than saying what he thought we wanted to hear. He was in full command of the issues and of the room. The Democrats weren’t ready for…

I refer to Nick Sandmann’s non- confrontation with the protestors as heroic simply because he didn’t do anything but smile despite extreme provocation from them, and more importantly, he refused to apologize for what he did not do in an effort to appease those who hate him. China and the United States – A Comparison
Darrell Castle draws a comparison between China today and America today. Transcription / Notes CHINA AND THE UNITED STATES—A COMPARISON Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday January 25, 2019 and on today’s Report I will be attempting to make a comparison between China and the course it is charting for itself in the world today and America and the course it is on. For much of America’s historic years of friendship with China, that country was an impoverished third world backwater looking for allies in its struggles, but the two countries once stood together against common foes. When the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor Hawaii was attacked on December 7, 1941 the Chinese had already been fighting the Japanese Empire for 10 years. The two nations faced a common foe together. After World War ll China changed from a primitive third world country to a primitive, communist third world country. Mao’s Cultural Revolution brought with it the…

Darrell Castle talks about government and private efforts to deny our right to speak freely and to profit from our own lawful businesses. Transcription / Notes FREEDOM OF SPEECH IN AN AGE OF LIES AND HYSTERIA Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday January 18, 2019 and on this Report I will be talking to you about the importance of the freedom to speak freely and how that freedom is under threat as never before in America. The first amendment to the United States Constitution states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” So Congress, is prohibited from denying our right to speak freely, and later amendments apply that prohibition to the states as well. The people who founded this government, who drafted the cons…

Transcription / Notes THE GREAT WALL CONTROVERSY Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday January 11, 2019 and on today’s Report I will be talking about the southern border of the United States. What, if anything, should be done about it? To build or not to build the wall, that is the question but it is not the only question. Tuesday night the President gave a prime time address from the oval office to make his rhetorical case for why the United States should build a wall on its southern border. He said that “this is a choice between right and wrong, justice and injustice. This is about whether we fulfill our sacred duty to the American citizens we serve.” Who could argue with that statement? It is certainly a matter of right and wrong but that doesn’t answer the question. Is it the right thing or the wrong thing to build a wall? Asked i…

Today is Friday, January 4, 2019, and on today’s Report I will bring to a close my three part review of 2018 by talking about Foreign Policy, with a heavy emphasis on the Middle East. President Donald Trump made the decision to withdraw U.S. military forces from Syria and has since seen not much in the way of praise but a great deal of criticism. It seems that virtually everyone is now a member of the Eternal War Party. One day after he made his announcement, the President and his wife made a secret trip to Iraq where he met with the troops stationed there. The troops received him enthusiastically, if you believe the videos I’ve seen of his speech to them. Perhaps the troops see the decision as I do, a Christmas present for the American and Syria…

2018 In Review – Part 2 – The Economy
Darrell Castle talks about the end of year status of the U.S. Economy Transcription / Notes 2018 IN REVIEW PART 2—THE ECONOMY Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, December 21, 2018 and on my time with you today I will continue my year end review with some thoughts about the economy. Today is also the last Friday before Christmas and that makes next week the week of Christmas so I will not be with you next Friday, but God willing I will return two weeks from today and that will be January 4, 2019. Today is the day that the government of the United States is supposed to shut down because Congress is so hamstrung by politics that it will not pass a budget, as the Constitution requires it to do. The government, therefore, continues from year to year on a series of continuing resolutions. This year the President has said that he will take personal responsibility for shutting down the government if he does not get $5 billion for construction of a wal…

2018 In Review Part 1 – The Border
Darrell Castle talks about the status of the U.S. border and immigration at the end of 2018. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Transcription/Notes: 2018 IN REVIEW PART ONE– THE BORDER Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, December 14, 2018, and in the time I have with you today I want to at least begin the process of our year end review by looking at what has happened, and is happening, with the border of the United States. First of all, I will tell you that I have explored in conversation with people, and paid attention to various members of what is usually referred to as the “MSM” or main stream media regarding President Trump, what they don’t like about him, etc., and I think that many people miss the point entirely. For example, the other day I was in my doctor’s office lobby bright and early waiting for my check up. The TV was on and my seat was very close so I had no choice…

Emmanuel Macron and the Yellow Vest Riots
Darrell Castle talks about the French Yellow Vest Riots and the affect of President Macron’s taxation policies on the middle and working class people of France. Transcription / Notes: Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday December 7, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the climate change conference in Europe and the protests over increased taxation that eventually turned into riots in Paris. First, I pause to remember that today is the 77th anniversary of the Day of Infamy that was the attack by Japanese naval and air forces against the United States base at Pearl Harbor 77 years ago today. Meanwhile, anti-Macron riots have been taking place across France and threatening to spread across Europe. It seems that the French people are becoming disenchanted with the promises of the French welfare state. Perhaps they are, as Margaret Thatcher famously said, running out of other peoples’ money. The riots have morphed fro…

Afghanistan – 17 Years and Counting
Darrell Castle talks about the United States’ involvement in Afghanistan long after Osama bin Laden’s death and questions the real reasons we are still in Afghanistan after 17 years of war. Transcription / Notes: AFGHANISTAN—17 YEARS AND COUNTING Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 30th 2018, and on today’s Report I will spend my time talking about the United States presence in Afghanistan. Sometimes we forget that our sons and daughters are still fighting there, and I don’t want that to happen, so periodically we take a look. Since the United States entered Afghanistan in 2001, 2,313 members of the American military have been killed there. You can raise that total by three, since three more were killed this week. In addition, 1,720 civilian contractors have been killed, 20,320 Americans have been wounded, and once again raise that number by three as a result of the same attack this week. Americans aren’t the only o…

The United States Navy and the New Silk Road
Darrell Castle talks about the United States Navy and its role in protecting peaceful world trade since World War II. Transcription / Notes THE UNITED STATES NAVY AND THE NEW SILK ROAD Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 16, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the role of the U.S. Navy in the world since World War Two and some things being done by other nations to counter that role today. First, let me remind you that next week is Thanksgiving Day and I plan to spend that Day with my family so no Castle Report next week. All nations need goods and services that can only be obtained from other countries. Sometimes they need raw materials for manufacturing industries, sometimes they need the already manufactured products, and sometimes their merchants just want to profit from the purchase and resale of foreign goods. There are only two ways for nations to obtain what they need from foreign countries: 1. they can…

Darrell Castle talks about the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, and how that war still effects us today. Transcription/Notes DOUGHBOYS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 9, 2018, and on this Report I will spend the time I have with you reminding you that tomorrow November 10 is the Marine Corps birthday but more importantly for this week, Sunday, November 11, 2018, is the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One, or what used to be known as “Armistice Day”. I talk about the 100th anniversary in order to honor those who served, and especially those who died in that European struggle. It was a European struggle for the most part, pitting England, France, Italy, Romania, and Russia against Germany and what was then known as the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The end of the War brought an end to the Austro-Hungarian Empire as well as the Ottoman Empire. New countries were born and old countries died. Modern day Tur…

Trump of the Tropics – Jair Bolsonaro
Darrell Castle talks about the recent election of Jair Bolsonaro as President of Brazil and his campaign’s close resemblance to the campaign of Donald Trump. Transcript/Notes TRUMP OF THE TROPICS—JAIR BOLSONARO Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 2, 2018, and on today’s Report I thought I would spend the few moments I have with you talking about the new President of Brazil who was elected last Sunday the 28th of October. Mr. Jair Bolsonaro is 63 years old and he will assume the office of president of Brazil on January 1, 2019. It’s important to know who our neighbors are and what they are up to and Brazil is one of our most important southern neighbors. Jair Bolsonaro is a retired military officer from the artillery and parachute divisions of the Brazilian army and has been in government service in one office or another, including six terms in Congress, since his retirement and transfer to the reserves in 1988. He was b…

The Death of One Journalist
Darrell Castle talks about the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and what his death means for the American-Saudi Alliance. Transcription / Notes: THE DEATH OF ONE JOURNALIST Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, October 26, 2018, and on Today’s Report I will be talking about the death, or at least the apparent death, of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. I call him journalist because that is what he was and had been since the 1970’s, an internationally prominent journalist. Let’s take a look today at who else this man Jamal Khashoggi really was. Mr. Khashoggi fled to the United States and Great Britain after writing articles critical of the Saudi Regime, especially new Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He obviously knew that if he ever set foot in Saudi Arabia again he would be killed or spend the rest of his life in a Saudi prison. The new Crown Prince apparently has no qualms whatsoever about using violence against his political ene…

The New Dark Ages
Darrell Castle talks about the rise of Western Civilization and the American ideal, and their descent into a New Dark Age. THE NEW DARK AGES Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, October 19, 2018, and on this Report I will be talking about the rise to greatness of Western Civilization along with the rise of the American Ideal, and their fall from greatness. ,The decline of the West and especially America is on the minds of a lot of people today but what about their origins and their rise to greatness? Ayn Rand once said “East minus West equals zero.” That might be a slight exaggeration, but it is essentially correct. If you look at what other civilizations have contributed to human society over the centuries you will find that it is not very much. Even the contributions that other civilizations have made either find their origins in the West or they are an effort to imitate Western success. Western Civilization has dominated many cen…

The Trump Doctrine and the General Assembly
Darrell Castle talks about President Trump’s speech to the United Nations General Assembly last week. Transcript / Notes THE TRUMP DOCTRINE AND THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, October 5, 2018, and on today’s report I will be talking about President Donald Trump’s speech to the UN General Assembly last week. The General Assembly is the only organ of the United Nations in which all nations have equal status and each nation gets one vote. The Security Council nations such as the United States, China, Russia, Great Britain, and France are largely in the General Assembly for symbolic purposes since the Security Council votes are far more important. President Trump spoke to that body made up of representatives from every nation in the world. In the beginning of his speech he noted that “In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country.…

Darrell Castle talks about the war against Western Civilization and how there seems to be a slight re-awakening of the desire for freedom, especially in Eastern Europe. Transcription / Notes EUROPEAN RE-AWAKENING Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, September 28, 2018, and on today’s Report I continue my discussion of the war against the founding principles of America, against Western or Christian Civilization, and against the rule of law. This week we fight the war in Europe where there are scattered pockets of people who appear to be at least starting to awaken from their slumber. The war in Europe is not being fought in old Europe for unfortunately, old Europe has already surrendered to the demands of the George Soros funded global ruling elite, in other words, they are prisoners of war. The nations, which a few decades ago resisted and defeated Nazi Germany to protect their homelands and their freedom, today cannot muster even a sligh…

Character Assassination is a Tactic of War
Darrell Castle talks about the war for the survival of America, the rule of law, and Western Civilization that is now being waged with Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court as one of the battle fronts. Transcription / Notes CHARACTER ASSASSINATION IS A TACTIC OF WAR Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, September 21, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the war that is currently being waged for the control of this nation and its people. The goals of the combatants in this war are often blurry but the goal of the side that I represent is to preserve as much of the founding principles of this nation as possible, as well as those of Western Civilization and the rule of law. The goal of the other side but appears to be the destruction of the things I am fighting to preserve. To this point the war for control of the nation and the future of the nation’s 330 million people is mostly a cold one, although that s…

The Root of All Power
Darrell Castle provides commentary on the acquisition and retention of power, and those things necessary for its use to control the human population. Transcription / Notes THE ROOT OF ALL POWER Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, September 14, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about power and its efforts to break the bonds that wise men have put in place to bind it. For example, we know that James Madison, the father of the Constitution, said “The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite.” The reality that we face today is the opposite of Madison’s intent. We know from past discussions that power corrupts, and that power is also addictive. Power is akin to a drug in that the more you have the more you want. The desire for power and the acquisition of power corrupts both the mind and the mora…

NAFTA Replaced – At Least With Mexico
Darrell Castle talks about the new trade agreement negotiated between President Trump and newly elected President Lopez Obrador of Mexico. Transcription / Notes NAFTA REPLACED—AT LEAST WITH MEXICO Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, September 7, 2018. Having just celebrated Labor Day with a three day weekend, we here at the Castle Report find ourselves in a contemplative mood. We continue week by week to bring all our vast resources of engineers, technicians, videographers, sound technicians and those who advise us on language, punctuation, etc., to bear in the war in which we find ourselves. The war to save our Republic and the war to save civilization is our war, our beat if you will, and we endeavor to report from as close to the front lines of that war as possible. Moderation in war is an absurdity as Von Clausewitz said, and Corporate America in its hatred and utter disdain for traditional, especially middle class, Americans must…

The Life and Death of Mollie Tibbetts

Transcription/Notes THE LIFE AND DEATH OF MOLLIE TIBBETTS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, August 31, 2018, and on today’s Report, I will be talking about Mollie Tibbetts’ life and death. Mollie was a 20 year old sophomore at the University of Iowa who went out for a jog on July 18 of this year, and was never seen alive again. Local authorities, aided by the concern of local Iowa people, searched high and low for her with nothing to show for it. A reward of almost $400,000 was raised and offered for information about where she might be. Finally, authorities located a farmer with a farm about an hour from the small community of Brooklyn, Iowa where Mollie lived. For some reason he had set up surveillance video cameras around his farm amid the thousands of acres of cornf…

Transcription / Notes TALKING TURKEY Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, August 24, 2018, and on this report I will be talking about Turkey. Not the kind of turkey you might have for Thanksgiving or Christmas but the kind that is a country located on the northern border of Syria in the Middle East. The kind that is so strategically located that it controls Russian access to its only entrance to the Mediterranean. You may have heard that the United States is having some problems with Turkey right now and, in fact, has recently placed some economic sanctions on that country and some of its leaders individually. In addition, there have been disagreements over the roles of Turkey and the United States in Syria, which inspired Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to go to Turkey…

Corruption – Nothing’s Changed in 2,000 Years
Darrell Castle talks about how the war on drugs has led to corruption both here in America and in Mexico, as well as a strategy for addressing it. Transcription / Notes CORRUPTION—NOTHING’S CHANGED IN 2000 YEARS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, August 17, 2018, and in this Report I will be talking about the subject of corruption, especially from the standpoint of the governments of the United States and Mexico. In Mexico, recently elected President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador will take office December 1st, armed with a public mandate to end corruption and violence caused by war with the drug cartels. His political party, the National Regeneration Movement, will have a majority in both houses of Congress. It’s been a long time since a Mexican President elect came to power with such an opportunity to actually complete his political agenda. He campaigned much as did Donald Trump, who told us he would “drain the swamp”. I doub…

The Deep State Moves To Silence Dissent
Darrell Castle talks about the de-platforming of Alex Jones and his InfoWars channel, as well as the New York Times hiring of an overt racist to its editorial board. Transcript/Notes THE DEEP STATE MOVES TO SILENCE DISSENT Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, August 10, 2018, and on this Report I will be talking about the coordinated attack by deep state corporate tech giants such as Facebook, Apple, Google/ You Tube, and Spotify. Since virtually everyone else is also talking about this subject, I will try give some different information, such as some legal arguments as to why being private might not shelter these particular corporations this time. It is common for those on the left to express hatred of capitalism and to rejoice when an anti-capitalist is elected, yet they trust the capitalist, massive, unaccountable corporations to decide for all of us what we are able to listen to and discuss. Thanks to their demands, global corporations…

The USA As A Pressure Valve
Darrell Castle talks about the election of Mexico’s new President, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador and his plans to make Mexico great again. Transcription / Notes THE USA AS A PRESSURE VALVE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, August 3, 2018, and on today’s Report I will again turn my attention to the subject of migration and immigration; and because of the recent elections in that country I will look primarily at Mexico. Why do so many millions of Mexican people want to risk danger and bear the expense and hardship of coming to the United States illegally? There are many reasons, of course, but the primary reason is most likely the extreme violence, poor living conditions, and lack of opportunity caused by the drug cartels’ decades’ long wars between each other, and with the Mexican and American governments. It stands to reason then, that the migrants or immigrants must believe that life will be better in the United States than it wa…

Democrats Finally Remove the Masks
Darrell Castle talks about how the Democrat Party is shifting to the left and how that shift is affecting the politics of the nation. Transcription/Notes DEMOCRATS FINALLY REMOVE THE MASKS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, July 27, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the leftward shift of the Democrat Party, and the effect that shift is having on politics in America. Yes, the Democrat Party is being changed primarily by the demographic changes the Democrat Party has forced on the country over several decades. The old policy of gradualism favored by Democrats, whereby they ruin the country gradually so we don’t notice, is unacceptable to the new Democrats; instead they want to ruin it completely and all at once. In New York’s 14th Congressional District’s Democrat primary, ten term incumbent Joe Crowley was defeated soundly by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a self-proclaimed working class girl from the Bronx. It turn…

Trump Speaks the Truth — In Public
Darrell Castle talks about President Trump’s meeting with NATO allies and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, and the Democrat Party’s reaction to the meetings. Transcript/Notes TRUMP SPEAKS THE TRUTH—IN PUBLIC Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, July 20, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about President Trump’s recent conference with NATO member states where he took them to the wood shed for not paying their agreed amount for defense. I will also discuss the President’s meeting with Russian Leader, Vladimir Putin, in Helsinki, Finland on July 16th. The President seems to be operating on a different premise from his predecessors, in regard to his dealing with NATO allies. His premise is, perhaps, best described as one of reciprocity. That is, the United States is no longer willing or able to underwrite the entire security of the West. The Western Allies agreed as part of the NATO alliance to spend at least two percen…

Today is Friday, July 13, 2018, yes, that’s right it’s Friday the 13th, and today I will be talking about San Francisco and what is happening there, including what economic impact it is having. It’s bad luck, I suppose, if you can attribute characteristics deliberately caused or caused by stupidity to luck. It is indeed bad luck for the people of San Francisco and for all the tourists and business visitors who choose to visit that afflicted city. The city of San Francisco is afflicted alright. It’s afflicted with the results of Democrat politics, including its status as a sanctuary city and California’s status as a sanctuary state. The answer to the tourist’s question that is…

Political Hysteria and the Division of America
Darrell Castle talks about how the lack of civility in politics is dividing Americans and preventing real debate and discourse, as well as causing the potential for violence. Transcription / Notes POLITICAL HYSTERIA AND THE DIVISION OF AMERICA Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, July 6, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about how politics in America has been reduced to hysteria, which is continuing to widen the division between Americans. To illustrate my point I will start with a front page story from my home town Memphis Commercial Appeal newspaper, which ran on the 4th of July. The chairman of the Shelby County Democrat Party referred to local Republican nominees as “demonstrably racist, homophobic, unethical and unqualified.” It seems that the chairman did not get his way on an issue of importance to him and his party in the upcoming election and he reacted, not with debate and discourse, but with name calling.…

A Reason For Cautious Optimism
Darrell Castle shares his thoughts on the reaction of violent rage and madness exhibited by many Democrats who are unable to accept the results of the 2016 election and why there is still reason for cautious optimism. Transcription / Notes A REASON FOR CAUTIOUS OPTIMISM Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, June 29, 2018, and on this Report I will be talking about how losing the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump has literally driven many Democrats, especially Democrat politicians, into a rage bordering on madness. They seem so unable to accept the fact that 63 million people rejected their ideas and voted for change, thus depriving them of the power to force others to fund their ideas that rage and madness have resulted. Despite all the bad news, all the rage and madness from the left, as we shall see, there are reasons for at least cautious optimism. Democrats are apparently so deluded as to why their candidate, Hillary Clinton, l…

The report basically examined whether political bias affected the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s decisions regarding which investigations it undertook and how it chose to conduct those investigations. The report spent its 568 pages documenting instances of political bias one after another and then said that “the investigation did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that improper considerations, includi…

Today is Friday, June 15, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the summit meeting held on June 12th between President Donald Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un of North Korea. The two leaders met in Singapore and issued a joint statement of their agreement. I will quote from the four points of the agreement as follows: “The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new U.S. – DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity”. This point certainly has to be considered a positive. New relations between the two countries have to be better than the old because worse than the old would be war, possibly nuclear war. In fact, war has technically existed between North and So…

Darrell Castle talks about the arrest and imprisonment of English activist, Tommy Robinson. Transcription / Notes TOMMY ROBINSON Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, June 8, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about English activist Tommy Robinson who was arrested on May 25, 2018, placed in a police van, driven to jail, and within four hours had been sentenced to 13 months in prison. Tommy’s crime was called “disturbing the peace” because he was filming on his cell phone the Muslims accused of the rape of thousands of young English girls. In other words, Tommy is in jail for what we in America once referred to as “free speech”. Tommy is well known among Muslims in England and English jails have a very high population of Muslims. Chances of his survival for 13 months are slim. Another Englishman was recently given a similar sentence for placing a bacon sandwich outside a Mosque, which of course is a hate crime in Eng…

Today is Friday, June 1, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the process for involuntarily removing a President from office before his elected term is finished. The United States Constitution describes the requirements for impeachment in three different places. Despite the fact that it is constitutionally permitted and that it is constantly talked about, the involuntary removal of a sitting President of the United States has never occurred in our history. The only way to accomplish it would be through the impeachment process, as described in the Constitution. Article 1, section 2 gives the sole power to impeach, which means make charges against, to the House of Representatives, by majority vote. Article 1, section 3 g…

Today is Friday, May 18, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be discussing President Trump’s decision to withdraw the United States from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), better known as the “Iran Deal”. During his Presidential campaign, then candidate Trump said he would not have made the Iran Deal and that it was a bad deal, a very bad deal. So after months of speculation and rumors, President Trump finally pulled the plug on the deal. He announced the U.S. withdrawal from the deal on May 8, citing concerns that the Joint Comprehensive Plan was not comprehensive enough and did not address Iran’s destabilizing efforts in the Middle East Region. In his speech announcing withdrawal, the President said that a more constructiv…

Transcript / Notes KARL MARX—HIS 200TH BIRTHDAY Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, May 11, 2018. On today’s Report, I will be talking about the bicentennial of the birth of Karl Marx and what his life has meant to the world and what it means to us today. Marx was born May 5, 1818, and lived for 64 years. He was born into a middle class family and studied law and philosophy. His maternal grandfather was a Jewish Rabbi and he also had Rabbis on his father’ side. Eventually his father joined the Evangelical Church of Prussia but Karl was baptized into the Lutheran Church a little after that. He was born in the small German town of Trier but had to leave for Belgium, and then France, as more and more countries grew tired of those who advocated what Karl did. Eventually he settled in London, although he…

Today is Friday, May 4, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about or at least asking the question, “has the globalist collective state” replaced God in the lives of 21st century Americans and Europeans? In a recent lecture at the University of Toronto, Professor Jordan Peterson reflected on the statement by Friedrich Nietzsche that “God is dead.” Nietzsche’s exact words were “God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? Today is Friday, April 27, 2018, and on today’s Report I will again be discussing Syria and the United States involvement there. The further we get from the alleged poison gas attack by the forces of Syrian president Bandar al Assad upon his own civilian population, the less sense it makes. We are expected to believe that Assad used a poison gas weapon, banned by international agreement and sure to draw an immediate US response, against a civilian population, which was no threat to him, and in an area in which he was apparently just hours away from complete victory. In addition, the attack was launched immediately after President Trump announced that the United States would soon be leaving Syria. The claim is therefore not believable. I watched the speech of UN Amb…

Darrell Castle discusses the war in Syria and offers reasons for the current threatened American attack. Transcription / Notes RUSSIAN ROULETTE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 13, 2018, and I am going to make this Report a little longer than usual because it’s a complicated subject but also because I will not be with you next week. On today’s Report I will be talking about the chemical weapons attack in Syria that happened a few days ago. Did it really happen though? We have seen videos of injured people but are the videos recent or from other years and places? What real evidence do we have that this attack even took place and if it did what real evidence do we have that Syria and Russia did it? President Trump has said that Syria and “animal Assad” will pay a big price for something that it probably did not even do. No evidence has been presented at this point that Syria and Assad did anything. The entire scenari…

We Will Create and Control Our Own Dystopia
Darrell Castle talks about the social credit system now being tested in China and soon to be mandatory there. Could this system be headed to America in the near future? Transcipt / Notes WE WILL CREATE AND CONTROL OUR OWN DYSTOPIA Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 6, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about what is and what is to come in the world of social credit. You are all familiar with credit scores and how important they are to everyday living. Whether or not you can buy a house, a car or get a credit card all depend on your credit score and so does the interest rate you must pay for the money you are allowed to borrow. In my law practice I am immersed in credit scores because they are very important and very valuable to my clients. I have an online program that I offer my clients to show them how to rebuild or raise their credit score so the money they borrow will be cheaper. In a sense, we could say that…

Who Poisoned The Skripals
Darrell Castle examines the questions of who poisoned the Skripals and where the evidence is that Russia did it. Transcript / Notes WHO POISONED THE SKRIPALS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 30, 2018, and more importantly, this is Good Friday, or the Friday before Easter. This is good news day and if there is good news out there I will find it today. First though, we have to talk and wonder, about the Skripals and who poisoned them. Were they actually poisoned? It’s hard to be sure in our world because no government, and virtually no media, can be trusted to report the truth. Something that we can be certain of, is that on Sunday, March 18, Vladimir Putin was re-elected as the leader of Russia. That’s no surprise at all, because although Russia pretends to have Western-style democracy, there is always only one candidate with any chance to win. Just before the election, the news about Sergei Skripal, age 66, and his d…

Britain Surrenders To Muslim Rape Gangs
Darrell Castle talks about how Muslim rape gangs have colonized Great Britain as well as tortured and raped thousands of British girls ages 9 to 16. Transcription / Notes BRITAIN SURRENDERS TO MUSLIM RAPE GANGS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 23, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the nation of Great Britain or the United Kingdom, as it is usually referred to today. The UK is the mother country for many of us and, as far as I’m concerned, I almost feel as much a part of it as those who live there. It’s not so great today, however, as we will see in this Report. Britain has maintained its independence for a long time, at least since the Romans left and before it was referred to as Britain. The British people have resisted invasion from Vikings, from Napoleon, and from the Spanish Armada. When Hitler demanded that they surrender in 1940 he offered them favorable terms, if they would just submit to his con…

Cold Civil War In California
Darrell Castle talks about the lawsuit by the Department of Justice against the State of California seeking to reverse certain California laws that are in conflict with Federal immigration laws. Transcript / Notes COLD CIVIL WAR IN CALIFORNIA Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Thank you for joining me today, Friday, March 16, 2018. On today’s report I will be talking about the conflict that continues to escalate in California as the leadership of that state defies and attempts to nullify Federal law. An interesting reversal of roles has occurred since our last Civil War as suddenly Governor Jerry Brown sounds like he is channeling John C. Calhoun against Jeff Sessions in the role of Abraham Lincoln, or possibly Ulysses Grant. It seems that California has suddenly discovered the 10th amendment just when it suits that state’s leadership to do so. Until the sanctuary cities and sanctuary state controversy came along, California didn’t seem to care…

Perhaps Italy Isn’t Dead Yet
Darrell Castle talks about the recent Italian elections and how immigrant migration drove the results in Italy, just as they did in America. Transcript / Notes PERHAPS ITALY ISN’T DEAD YET Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 9, 2018 and on today’s Report I will be talking about the Italian elections held last Sunday. The elections in Italy are very relevant to us here in America as we will see. This Report will argue that Italy has joined a growing number of nations around the world which are starting to resist the destruction of their culture and heritage. What does it all mean? I will attempt to answer that question with this Report, and I thank you for joining me. Italy is a once great nation that has fallen on hard times recently, thanks to EU policies and regulations. It is the EU which dictates to member nations that they must resettle migrants, even if they have to displace their own people to do it. It is the EU’s…

A Russian Story
Darrell Castle recounts the powerful story of Major Roman Filipov and how his death is similar to the death of Western Civilization and the American way of life. Transcript / Notes A RUSSIAN STORY Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, March 2, 2018, and on today’s report I have a Russian story for you, and that means it’s going to be gloomy and sad because, as Dostoevsky said about Russians, “only through suffering can we find ourselves.” Russia is all about suffering and probably always has been. This story involves a young man named Roman Filipov, age 34, and a Major in the Russian Air Force. Major Filipov was a fighter pilot assigned to the Russian mission in Syria. On February 2 of this year, he was flight leader of two SU-25 fighter jets on a reconnaissance mission over Syria. The Russian military referred to his mission as “observation” but the Americans would call it “reconnaissance”. Regardless of whethe…

Going Totally Third World As Punishment For Past Sins
Darrell Castle talks about the reversal of civilization and California’s descent into third world status. Transcript / Notes GOING TOTALLY THIRD WORLD AS PUNISHMENT FOR PAST SINS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 23, 2018, and on this Report I once again rise in defense of my civilization. I watched with great interest portions of Nancy Pelosi’s marathon speech, primarily on illegal immigration, given the other day in Congress. I wonder how she could be much affected by the destruction of civilization in California. How could she even be aware of what Victor Davis Hanson has called the “reversal of civilization” in California? Living on her Northern California estate in palatial luxury, and in her multi millionaire lifestyle, she remains above and excluded from the policies she insists the rest of us accept. She is exempt from the consequences of open borders and massive immigration from the third world. NBC in the…

Maybe It’s Better Than We Think
Darrell Castle talks about the advantages that Western Civilization has afforded us and how we always compare ourselves to those who we consider to have a higher standard of living than we do. Transcription / Notes MAYBE IT’S BETTER THAN WE THINK Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 16, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about some of the many advantages that we have in our world today. This is really just a continuation of my series of Reports on the advantages of Western Civilization and reasons why it should not be destroyed. My inspiration for this story came from a trip to Phoenix, Arizona last week. I was returning home to Memphis on Sunday so as usual the crowds, the airport security, the narrow seats, the endless lines all served to remind me that everything is bad today. Everything just seemed so dark, gloomy, and depressing. The final straw came in waiting for my luggage at the Memphis airport for 30 minu…

Democrats Bring The Third World For Trump Resistance
Darrell Castle talks about the extremes Democrat politicians will go to in order to resist the policies of President Donald Trump. Transcription / Notes DEMOCRATS BRING THE THIRD WORLD FOR TRUMP RESISTANCE Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 9, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the efforts of many Democrat politicians who hold elected offices in the United States to bring this country ever closer to becoming part of the third world. Some of them want smaller amounts of third world than others but some are going full poop hole country right now. The best example is Denver, Colorado, which is one of the more prominent sanctuary cities in America. The term sanctuary city means that the city wants to show itself a place of refuge for illegal immigrants so it declares that it is a sanctuary for them to flee to, and it will not enforce Federal immigration law nor will it allow Federal immigration law to be enforced t…

The State of the Union and Democrat Solidarity
Darrell Castle talks about the State of the Union speech given by President Donald Trump on Tuesday night, January 30, 2018, and the Democrat reaction to it. Transcription / Notes THE STATE OF THE UNION AND DEMOCRAT SOLIDARITY Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, February 2, 2018, and on today’s report I will be talking about the State of the Union Speech given by President Donald Trump last Tuesday night. The President obviously had a plan for this speech. He probably intended it to be a unity speech full of pro-American things that any American who loves his country would have to stand and applaud for. It included very little of the usual bombast that we have come to expect from such speeches, and was, for all intents and purposes, a kinder, gentler, and more Presidential, Donald Trump. The President probably wanted this speech to be a hand reaching across the aisle and inviting opponents to work with him on fixing our immigration and in…

Let’s Make America Pretty Good Again
Darrell Castle talks about what it will take to make America great again or at least make America pretty good again. Transcription / Notes LET’S MAKE AMERICA PRETTY GOOD AGAIN Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, January 26, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the concept of making America Great Again. During the campaign and after Mr. Trump and his supporters were often asked the question; “when was America great,” in a manner designed to allow the questioner an opportunity to point out all the flaws with America at that time. This Report will help you answer that question if it is ever posed to you, and remember, great doesn’t mean perfect it just means great. Making America Great would be pretty difficult in today’s political climate, but it would be entirely possible to at least make America pretty good again, and that would be a step in the right direction, and much better than nothing. Why can’t we…

Comforting Lies and Disturbing Truths
Darrell Castle addresses the President’s statement about immigration from certain countries, specifically those in Africa as well as Haiti. Transcription / Notes COMFORTING LIES AND DISTURBING TRUTHS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, January 19, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the President’s remarks the other day, when he allegedly referred to certain countries as “poop hole” countries. He is actually credited with having asked some lawmakers, during discussions on DACA (the delayed action on childhood arrivals) bill, that is a current matter of contention holding up passage of the budget for this year; why do we take so many immigrants from “poop hole” countries, we should be taking in more from Norway. Whether he actually said it or not is a matter of contention because he said he used strong language but not the word “poop hole”, and some of the lawmakers in attendance said that he did, in fact, us…

European Civilization Is Circling The Drain
Darrell Castle talks about purchases of French landmarks by the Saudi Royal Family, attacks on French women, and especially French Jews by Muslim immigrants. Transcription / Notes EUROPEAN CIVILIZATION IS CIRCLING THE DRAIN Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, January 12, 2018, and on today’s Report, I will be talking about some recent events in Europe and the Middle East, and what these events say about the future of Europe, especially France. From the title of this Report, you may be thinking, “he’s given up on happiness and gone off the deep end again”, but before you jump to that conclusion, just hear me out. First of all, I have made a commitment to talk about Europe in these Reports as often as possible because European Civilization is Western Civilization, and that is our civilization, at least it once was. Our story this week began in the New York Times Sunday Edition of December 17, 2017, when that paper carried a front…

The Real Problem With Debt In America
Darrell Castle discusses how the problem of individual debt is causing a lot of the stress and anger-related problems affecting the average American. Transcription / Notes THE REAL PROBLEM WITH DEBT IN AMERICA Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, January 5, 2018, the first Friday of 2018. Today I will be talking about debt, and I don’t mean the unpayable, unimaginable, debt of our various National, State and local governments. I’m going to address the plight of the Average American with regard to debt, and discuss how lives are being affected in ways perhaps we haven’t thought of before. I am, I submit, very qualified to discuss this subject, having been a bankruptcy lawyer for now close to 39 years. During the second Obama administration, and now during the Trump administration, we have been told repeatedly that we are in an economic recovery and that things are really looking up. That might be the case for some, but for the…

Transcription / Notes HAPPINESS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, December 22, 2017, and on today’s report I will be talking about some reasons to be happy as we approach Christmas and the end of 2017. The Castle Report is dedicated to bringing you my perspective on the news or the things happening in our world and admittedly those things are usually bad, but today we look at happiness as an object in and of itself, and some very good reasons to be happy as we begin 2018. We might assume that people who reside in the United States, the world’s economic powerhouse, would be the happiest people on earth, but sadly that is not the case. The World Happiness Report, yes there is such a thing, reports that on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being very happy and 1 being very unhappy, Americans are just n…

Our Crumbling Civilization and Immigrant Rights
Darrell Castle talks about the destruction of our nation’s moral consensus and the necessity of secured borders. Transcription / Notes OUR CRUMBLING CIVILIZATION AND IMMIGRANT RIGHTS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, December 15, 2017, and on today’s report, I will be talking about how our civilization is starting to crumble at the foundation. It seems that when advancements are made by humanity, sometimes taking thousands of years to achieve, these advancements are often given back or destroyed in a few decades. Western Civilization, for example, is based on a shared moral consensus as its foundation. When that consensus is destroyed, or even weakened, the foundation of our civilization crumbles. The moral consensus underpinning Western Civilization has now been replaced by a set of amoral rules, which make up our new amoral code. The new set of rules is absolutely binding on most of us, but for a few they are not so binding.…

How Can the Republic Survive Its Elected Leaders?
Darrell Castle talks about the budget debate in Congress and what is causing the impasse. Transcription / Notes HOW CAN THE REPUBLIC SURVIVE ITS ELECTED LEADERS Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, December 8, 2017, and on today’s report, I will be discussing the National budget, due today but now postponed until December 22. Congress is supposed to pass a budget for the New Year by the end of each fiscal year, but they have been unable to do so for quite some time operating instead on a series of continuing resolutions. This is very important to each of our lives for reasons we will see. The people we elect to oversee the nation’s finances control even tiny aspects of our lives, for example, they tell me who I can hire and who I can fire, how much water I can have in my toilets, what lights I can use in my home, and how I can heat and cool my home. The point is that there so many glaring problems on the backs of the American people b…

Competing Against Soros
Darrell Castle explains why it is so difficult to compete at a high level in politics or even in the marketplace of ideas in our world today. Transcription / Notes COMPETING AGAINST SOROS Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, December 1, 2017, and today’s report will deal with why it is so difficult to compete at a high level in politics, or even in the marketplace of ideas in our world today. A few days ago I got an email from a gentleman, followed by a requested phone call to him in which I was asked to answer a question. The question was: since it is so hard to compete with Democrats and Republicans, why can’t we in the 3rd party movement come together as one to compete with them. I explained to the gentleman my many attempts over the years to explore that possibility but have come to understand that 3rd parties have fundamental differences from each other, just as they do with the other two parties, as well principles that we are unwi…

Give Thanks – But Sometimes It’s Hard
Darrell Castle talks about being thankful even while difficult circumstances surround us. Transcription / Notes GIVE THANKS – BUT SOMETIMES IT’S HARD Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 24, 2017, but more importantly today is the day after Thanksgiving, or what is commonly known as “Black Friday”. The day after Thanksgiving has developed into a kind of holiday all its own as the retailers of America start the deep discount sales that begins the Christmas shopping season. Now some stores have extended Black Friday to Thursday so Black Thanksgiving, I suppose. These retailers are counting on the lust for discount shopping but I suspect they are also counting on the distant and fading American family. We want to buy presents for each other at a discount, but we can’t stand each other’s presence for one day. Don’t get caught in that trap. Black Friday if you must, but not Black Thanksgiving, please don’t go shopping…

The New Saudi Arabia
Darrell Castle talks about a new world of artificial intelligence being developed in Saudi Arabia. Transcription / Notes THE NEW SAUDI ARABIA Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 17, 2017, and on today’s Report I will continue the discussion of Saudi Arabia that we began a few weeks ago. This is an important topic today as Saudi Arabia moves rapidly to consolidate a trans-generational change of power for the first time in 50 years. The founding King has no more of his 36 sons left after the current one, King Salman, and therefore, power must pass to a grandson. King Salman, 88 years old, has selected his favorite son and close advisor, Mohammed bin Salman, age 32, as Crown Prince. It was assumed that King Salman would name Mohammed bin Nayef, head of the Interior Ministry, as his successor but instead, he selected Mohammed bin Salman. Bin Salman is apparently the favorite son and top advisor to the King and, at age 32, is young…

Today is Friday, November 10, 2017, and as you may know November 10 is the Marine Corps birthday. I couldn’t let that day go by without at least saying “Happy Birthday” to my fellow Marines. I should also mention the tragic shooting at a church in Texas as the important story for the week but, despite the tragedy, today we discuss something more mundane but something of great importance, and that is President Trump’s appointment of the new Federal Reserve Chairman. Assuming confirmation by the Senate, and that seems like a mere formality, the new Fed Chairman will be Jerome “Jay” Powell. Mr. Powell is a graduate of Princeton University and Georgetown University Law School so he is a lawyer not an economist. He is a former investment banker with a little Treasury…

100 Years of Communism and the Destruction of Moral Order
Darrell Castle talks about the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution and the rise of Communism and how it is still affecting our world today. Transcript / Notes 100 YEARS OF COMMUNISM AND THE DESTRUCTION OF MORAL ORDER Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, November 3, 2017, and on today’s report I will be talking about the 100th anniversary of the rise of communism and what it means for us today. Most people place the date of the Russian Revolution as November 6, 1917 but some place it two weeks earlier, depending on which calendar is used. Whichever calendar is used for the calculation, this week is the 100th anniversary for our purposes. 100 years ago this week, Vladimir Lenin and his followers rose in revolt against the Russian Czars and hundreds of years of government by a traditional inherited ruling class, who ruled a feudalistic society that was basically unchanged for centuries. The Revolution was part of the destruction of t…

The NFL Protests – Is Free Inquiry Possible?
Darrell Castle talks about the NFL protests and asks the question “Should we be allowed free inquiry as to whether the protest allegations are true or not?” Transcript / Notes THE NFL PROTESTS—IS FREE INQUIRY POSSIBLE? Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, October 27, 2017, and as you listen to this Report, I will be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the Constitution Party National Committee meeting. Today, however, I will be talking about the NFL protests again, not because I want to save the NFL but because I believe that free inquiry, or the policy of allowing all points of view to be heard on an issue, is vitally important for our society. Playing the national anthem at sporting events is a tradition whose time has probably come. Playing of the anthem at baseball games was begun during World War l to build patriotism and support for the war. Like most temporary things it continued after the war, and by World War ll, had become a tr…

The French Patriot Act
Darrell Castle talks about a new anti-terrorism law in France and how the French belief in its necessity is tied to the destruction of ISIS. Transcipt / Notes THE FRENCH PATRIOT ACT Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, October 20, 2017, and on today’s Report we journey back to the old Continent of Europe to look at the nation of France, and examine a new law recently passed, supposedly to help the French deal with terrorism. This new law actually had its origin in the attacks of November 2015, which killed more than 130 people in what is commonly known as the Charley Hebdo attacks. Since that day, France has been under an official state of emergency, which is a heightened security measures regime that was described as “temporary” when it was declared but is still in effect. This state of emergency gives local police and local administrative authorities heightened powers to arrest and detain suspects without judicial oversight. We’…

The Rape of Yemen
Darrell Castle talks about war in the nation of Yemen and its danger to the Saudi Monarchy. Transcipt / Notes THE RAPE OF YEMEN Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, October 13, 2017. That’s right, today is Friday the 13th, a very appropriate day to discuss the Nation of Yemen, and the war that has been ongoing there for several years. The war is bad luck indeed for the Yemeni people. I’m certain they would much prefer to go back to their lives of misery and suffering, amid the rubble that has been made of their country. Yemen has one thing going for it, though; one thing worth fighting for, one thing the great powers, such as the United States, believe to be worth the blood and treasure of their people, and that one thing is geography. Yemen happens to be located on the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, at the corner of the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, and it occupies one of the great oil choke-points of the world, as well as t…

Catalonia Really Wants To Be Free
Darrell Castle talks about revolution in Spain as the region of Catalonia seeks independence. Transciption / Notes CATALONIA REALLY WANTS TO BE FREE Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, October 6, 2017, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the nation of Spain and the struggle of one of its regions, or provinces, to become an independent nation. We start with a little background. Prior to the start of World War Two, the Spanish Region of Catalonia sought to establish a Republic in Spain, which was was allied in its struggle with the Soviet Union. The opposing force was Spanish Dictator Francisco Franco who was allied with Nazi Germany. Adolph Hitler had begun rearming Germany from its defeat in World War l, and the Spanish Civil War gave him a chance to test his new weapons, especially the Luftwaffe or German Air Force. The new airplanes used in Spain caused Great Britain to take notice and start its own re-armament. The…

The NFL and the Free Market
Darrell Castle explains how the free market can control the NFL players’ refusal to stand for the national anthem. Transcript / Notes Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, September 29, 2017, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the NFL and the National Anthem protests. This has been a very busy week in news with many things happening that are worthy of note such as the re-election of Angela Merkel in Germany, with the German Conservative Party gaining enough support at about 13% to have seats in the German Parliament. In Alabama, Roy Moore finally won the Republican Primary for the U.S. Senate seat previously vacated by Jeff Sessions. Moore has been in the struggle many years but if he wins the special election to be held December 12, and it looks certain that he will, a populist candidate opposed to both the mainstream of his own Party as well as the Democrat agenda will sit in the U.S. Senate. Darrell Castle talks about President Trump’s broken promises and the tragedy of what could have been. Transcript / Notes BETRAYAL Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, September 22, 2017, and on today’s Report, I will be talking about promises made and promises broken, and what might have been from President Donald Trump. President Trump campaigned on a promise that he would end DACA on his first day in office, but 8 months later he makes a feeble attempt but then reneges. Last week I said that he sent Attorney General Jeff Sessions out to announce that he was going to issue an order withdrawing President Obama’s executive order establishing DACA, but then the President invited Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to the Whitehouse for dinner. Ms. Pelosi issued a statement summarizing the discussions and stated that there would be legislation re-establishing DACA by law, which the President had agreed to sign. There would be serious discus…

Darrell Castle explains DACA and discusses Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ defense of the rule of law and how it applies to the ending of DACA. Transcript / Notes Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, September 15, 2017, and on today’s report I will be discussing DACA, which stands for Delayed Action for Childhood Arrivals. In June of 2012, President Obama, after Congress repeatedly denied his request for Congressional implementation, decided to take legislative action on his own authority, by executive order. President Trump campaigned on a promise of ending DACA “on his first day in office.” It took more than eight months but he finally got around to withdrawing President Obama’s executive order. Last week Attorney General Jeff Sessions was sent out before the cameras to make the announcement that DACA would be ending. That, in and of itself, is probably significant because President Trump is usually not shy at all about the lim…

Corporatism and the Destruction of Free Speech
Darrell Castle discusses how corporations and government have joined forces to destroy the right to speak freely in America. Transcript / Notes CORPORATISM AND THE DESTRUCTION OF FREE SPEECH Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, September 8, 2017, and on today’s report I will be discussing the topic of whether the right to speak freely still exists in America, or whether it has been extinguished by the combined efforts of Corporate America and Government America. When Benito Mussolini rose to power in Italy, he adopted the Roman Fasces as his symbol, the Fasces is an axe surrounded by reeds or sticks, denoting centralized power. Since he chose that symbol, his system of government became known as “fascist” but he said it would be more accurate to call it “corporatism”, because of its blending government and the corporate world into one. In this report, I argue that we are at least approaching that position today with regard to free…

A New Strategy in Afghanistan
Darrell Castle talks about the President’s speech announcing a new strategy in Afghanistan. It looks a lot like the old strategy. Transcript / Notes A NEW STRATEGY IN AFGHANISTAN Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday September 1, 2017, and on today’s report I will be discussing President Trump’s speech, given on August 21, in which he discussed “our path forward in Afghanistan”. He stated that his gut instinct told him to leave Afghanistan, and he likes to follow his instincts, but sitting behind the desk in the oval office gives one a perspective that he cannot see otherwise. The United States, with Donald Trump as President, is not the first empire to attempt to conquer, pacify, or force to the bargaining table the Afghan people, in whatever political form they existed at that time. The armies of Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, the Mongols, the British Empire, and the Soviet Union have all been broken or blunted on the rugged…

The Man Who Destroyed Western Civilization
Darrell Castle discusses George Soros and the Soros plan for destroying Western Civilization. Transcription / Notes THE MAN WHO DESTROYED WESTERN CIVILIZATION Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday August 25, 2017, and on today’s Report I will be talking about what happens when one man has an unlimited amount of money at his disposal, and that man turns out to be despicable, even evil, and is dedicated to the destruction of the Western World. That man walks the world today completely free. He is known as George Soros. Soros was born in Budapest, Hungary, August 12, 1930, so that makes him 87 years old right now. Although born a Jew, and obviously a child during Hitler’s rise to power, Soros makes no secret of his help for the Nazis during their conquest of Hungary. He brags about it, in fact, and makes quite a show of explaining how he helped the Nazis locate and confiscate Jewish property and round up his fellow Jews. It was fun he sa…

THE RAISE ACT
Darrell Castle presents how the RAISE ACT would change American immigration policy. Transcription / Notes THE RAISE ACT Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday August 18, 2017, and on today’s Report I will be talking about the Raise Act, which stands for Reforming American Immigration for a Strong Economy Act. The discussion of this new proposal will give us a chance to take a look at current American immigration policy. The Raise Act, then, is an attempt to reform American Immigration Policy and base it on a different set of assumptions. The Raise Act was proposed by Senator Tom Cotton, the junior Senator from Arkansas, who filed it in February 2017. A brief look at Senator Cotton’s background tells us that he is from a family of Arkansas farmers and that he attended Harvard University, where he graduated with honors. He then graduated from Harvard law school, but instead of practicing law, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving…

The IT Scandal in the Democrat Party
Darrell Castle reports on an espionage scandal involving information technology professionals working for several Democrat members of the U.S. Congress. Transcript / Notes THE IT SCANDAL IN THE DEMOCRAT PARTY Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday August 11, 2017, and on today’s report I will be talking about another scandal in Congress – this one apparently limited solely to Democrat members of Congress and their employees. I will admit that I struggled with what to call this report. Should I call it the Awan scandal, the Democrat espionage scandal, the Debbie Wasserman Schultz scandal, but I wanted to be fair and not say anything untrue or at least explain that these things are still, hopefully, under investigation and therefore as yet unproven. Some of the things in this report are so obvious that most people will have no trouble seeing that there is something very wrong in Congress, particularly on the Democrat side since this scandal…

Sarah Palin vs The New York Times
Darrell Castle reports on the lawsuit filed by Sarah Palin against The New York Times for libel. Transcript Notes Sarah Palin vs The New York Times Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday August 4, 2017 and on today’s Report I will be talking about a lawsuit that was filed on June 27, 2017 by Sarah Palin against The New York Times for libel. The case was filed in the Southern District of New York and assigned to Judge Jed Rakoff who has been on the Federal Bench since he was appointed by Bill Clinton in 1996. The New York Times, the gray lady, I have always thought of it as the best newspaper in the world and I have had home delivery for many years. The masthead of the Times says everything. “All the news that’s fit to print” right on the upper left column of the paper, has been synonymous with the Times since the beginning. But according to Mrs. Palin and her legal team, and by the Times own admission, as we will see, this time they print…

Capitalism – Free Market Not Crony
Darrell Castle defends Capitalism and talks about the difference between Free Market Capitalism and Crony Capitalism. Transcript Notes CAPITALISM—FREE MARKET NOT CRONY Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday July 28, 2017 and on today’s report we will be discussing Capitalism, some of its attributes, as well as some reasons why it is rapidly going out of fashion, especially among the young. That it is losing its grip on the West is confirmation that Western Civilization with all its advantages such as the rule of law and especially the ascendency of individual rights as opposed to state power, is in steep decline. That’s too bad, because virtually everything valuable built in the last 2000 years owes its existence to Western Civilization and along with it, capitalism. Reason Magazine conducted a recent poll among those age 18-24 and 58% of them said they view socialism favorably and capitalism unfavorably but at the same time 64% said they fav…

CNN – Consider The Source
Darrell Castle talks about the arrogance of the news media and CNN’s attack on the free speech and privacy rights of Mr. Han A. Solo and by implication all Americans. Transcript CNN—CONSIDER THE SOURCE Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday July 21, 2017 and on Today’s report we will be talking about the incredible losing streak CNN has been on for the last couple of weeks and what the Cable News Network has done this time. But first let’s talk about some of the things that have been happening in the world since I talked to you last week. My wife and I flew to Los Angeles immediately after posting last week’s report to see our daughter and son-in-law. She had quite a weekend planned for us with some interesting people. We saw Tony Bennett at the Hollywood Bowl. Tony is in his 90’s now but he still puts on a great show. Meanwhile, in Europe, Hamburg Germany hosted the G-20 summit which also turned out to be quite a show. Tens of thousand…

SCOTUS Says It’s OK to Hate Again
Darrell Castle discusses the Supreme Court’s recent decision involving the First Amendment and the Freedom of Speech Clause. Transcript SCOTUS SAYS IT’S OK TO HATE AGAIN Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday July 14, 2017. In this Report I will be talking about the recent United States Supreme Court decision in which the court unanimously held that so called hate speech is protected under the 1st amendment. The decision was 8-0 since Justice Gorsuch had not taken his seat at the time of the ruling. This case arose eight years ago when an Asian rock band out of Portland Oregon decided to call itself “The Slants”. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office kept the band from registering its name and rejected its appeal citing the Lanham Act which prohibits any trademark that could disparage or bring into contempt or disrepute any person living or dead. A lower Federal Court agreed with the band but then the Patent and Trademark Office filed suit to…

Puerto Rico Wants To Be The 51st State
Darrell Castle talks about Puerto Rico’s desire to become the 51st state and what if anything it brings to the table. Transcript PUERTO RICO WANTS TO BE THE 51st STATE Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s podcast. Today is Friday July 7, 2017 and on today’s pod cast we will be talking about the territorial island of Puerto Rico, its debt and its desire to become the 51st state. On June 11th of this year a non-binding referendum was held in Puerto Rico concerning whether the Island should seek statehood in the United States or not. The ballot had three possible choices: become a state of the United States, become an independent nation, or remain in current status. 97% voted to become a state of the United States but only 23% of eligible voters actually voted. Four previous referendums have been held on the Island, the last in 2012 but this is the first time the vote for statehood was so overwhelming and part of our discussion will concern why. Puerto Rico currently has rou…

Travel Ban Reinstated – Well Sort Of
Darrell reviews the Supreme Court’s decision reinstating President Trump’s travel ban on people from Muslim countries. Transcript TRAVEL BAN REINSTATED—WELL SORT OF Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s pod cast. Today is Friday June 30, 2017 and on today’s pod cast we will be talking about this week’s Supreme Court’s per Curiam, which means unsigned, decision in what is commonly known as the travel ban case. The Court unanimously stayed or scaled back most of the relief granted by the lower courts in this case. The case involves an executive order from President Trump to ban new travel visas for travel to the United States for people from six countries—Libya, Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. The Court halted the stay imposed on the President’s order temporally and agreed to hear the full case in the October 2017 session of the Court. The Justices stated that the President has a high interest in enforcing issues of national security. “The Government’s i…

North Korea – Nuclear Threat or Just Bad People
Darrell Castle talks about the crisis with North Korea and poses the question – Is North Korea a legitimate nuclear threat to the United States that must be attacked and destroyed militarily? Transcript NORTH KOREA—NUCLEAR THREAT OR JUST BAD PEOPLE Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s podcast. Today is Friday June 23, 2017, and on today’s podcast we will be talking about the crisis with North Korea from the perspective of whether or not that nation is a serious nuclear threat to the United States, or whether it is just a place run by really bad people or perhaps really bad lunatics. North Korea is about the last place one would normally think of as a serious threat. It can’t even feed its own people without massive help from China and the West. It can’t seem to make anything such as appliances, air conditioners, cars, etc., most of which it imports from its Chinese benefactor as well as its sworn enemy, South Korea. North Korea keeps its people, those not confined…

War of Values
Darrell Castle discusses the recent election in the United Kingdom as well as recent acts of terrorism there and the lack of response to those acts. Transcript WAR OF VALUES Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s pod cast. Today is Friday June 16, 2017 and on today’s pod cast we will primarily be discussing the recent elections in the UK as well as acts of terrorism in the old world. There are many things we could be discussing as the world lurches from one disaster to another such as the recent shooting of four people by a former member of Bernie Sanders’ campaign team. When left wing propaganda sites spew out their rhetoric 24/7 because they will not respect the will of the people and when left wing politicians themselves refuse to rebuke assassination parodies, etc and when their rhetoric as well as their actions is a continual incitement to violence perhaps it’s because they want someone to act on their words, and this time someone did. Today however, we turn our attent…

Backing Out of Paris
Darrell Castle speaks about President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Change Agreement and the world’s reaction to that decision. Transcript BACKING OUT OF PARIS Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s Pod Cast. Today is Friday June 9, 2017 and on today’s pod cast we are going to be discussing the decision by President Donald Trump to fulfill one of his campaign promises and withdraw America from the Paris Agreement on Climate Change signed last year by then President Barack Hussein Obama. The Agreement was designed to limit and eventually end fossil fuel energy production in the world. Anyone can see that it is not in America’s best interest to do that since doing so would damage the American economy and destroy the jobs of many people. I’ve seen estimates of about 8 million jobs in the US. The agreement was signed by all but two nations those being Nicaragua and Syria. All 195 nations besides those two signed the agreement. It had the appearance then…

Manchester and the President’s Message to Muslims
Darrell Castle talks about the Manchester bombing along with President Trump’s message delivered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. TRANSCRIPT MANCHESTER AND THE PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE TO MUSLIMS Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s podcast. Today is Friday June 2, 2017 and on today’s podcast we will be discussing the recent terrorist bombing attack conducted against people attending a rock or pop concert in Manchester, England. The performer at the concert was Arianna Grande, apparently a huge American star who appeals primarily to early teen girls. Salman Abedi, age 22, acting in the name of the religion of peace, strapped a bomb lined with nails to his chest and walked into the arena where thousands of people including many children were enjoying the concert and blew himself up. The explosion created instant carnage with 22 dead and over 100 wounded. Many of the wounded were critical and may have died since the last report of casualties. There were many stories of families picking…

What Global Empires Do
Darrell Castle discusses Trump vs Comey, the Trump – Russia investigation, and what it all means for America. TRANSCRIPT Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s podcast. Today is Friday, May 19, 2017, and today we will be discussing the global empire that used to be America, but is now just the United States or as some have taken to calling it “the deep state.” Every global empire has to have its secret police, and the United States is no exception. There are 16 different intelligence agencies all coming under the department of homeland security. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is one of those agencies. Its director is appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. The director of the FBI is, therefore, under the Executive branch and since the FBI is law enforcement, it also comes under the Department of Justice, making the FBI’s direct boss is the Attorney General of the United States who now is Jeff Sessions. Since it is one of the intelligence agencies…

Au Revoir France
Darrell Castle talks about why the 2017 presidential election in France was so important to Americans. PODCAST TRANSCRIPT Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s pod cast. Today is Friday May 12, 2017 and on this pod cast we are going to be discussing the recent elections in France. Why was the election of a French President vitally important to Americans and to the entire world? I have had a fondness for France and the French people for a long time. When I think of the French people I don’t think about the ignorant ones in the man on the street pre-election interviews who say I’m voting for Macron because Le Pen is racist, xenophobic, homophobic, claustrophobic, hydrophobic, etc. Instead I think about the French officers I served with; I think about Bridget Bardot and Katherine Denueve. I think about the beauty and romance of Paris and the French countryside. It’s been a while since I’ve since France, too long in fact. I have not been there since the Muslim invasion. So…

The Life of the Party
Darrell Castle talks about the Constitution Party, his 2016 Presidential Campaign, and his vision of victory. THE LIFE OF THE PARTY Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s pod cast. Today is Friday July 29, 2016 and on today’s podcast we are going to discuss the Constitution Party and where we go from here. In many ways the Constitution Party is a mirror of America which was founded by people with a youthful, energetic, attitude. Those were people who left stagnant and oppressive Europe to create a life for themselves in a new world. They wanted to be free to choose their own pursuit of happiness. That freedom allowed them to carve a nation out of a wilderness, a nation based on principles that allowed the most prosperity for the most people in history. Today, America doesn’t seem so young anymore. We seem older, more fearful, less willing to explore, to risk danger. Even the young are frightened of the future which seems to hold grim economic realities for them. There is an at…

Jul 15, 2016
Darrell Castle argues and presents evidence for the proposition that our nation may have reached a state of terminal decline. TERMINAL DECLINE: the life cycle of nations and how we can determine when they reach a state of terminal decline. Nations have life spans like people, and their life spans are often observable. A nation begins its existence and its rise, based on a shared determination and a strong work ethic. These things propel its rise to a high level of productivity which in turn creates prosperity. A greater and greater abundance is enjoyed by the nation’s population, which leads the population to become easy prey to empty political claims that largesse from the state can and will enrich all. The largesse results in complacency, which then turns into apathy. When a nation reaches its peak, a majority of the people will have traded in their work ethic for the un-achievable promise of ever-increasing government largesse. At that point the decline is terminal, and set in st…

The Real Meaning of the Clinton Decision
Darrell Castle discusses how the rule of law and the right of the people to govern themselves are in grave danger. THE REAL MEANING OF THE CLINTON DECISION Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s podcast. Today is Friday, July 8, 2016, and on today’s podcast we are going to discuss the death not only of the rule of law, but of the people’s ability to govern themselves. I’m not going to rehash the information that you already know about James Comey’s press conference in which he said essentially that there was evidence of broken laws, which would have been prosecuted in others but not in one of our Royalty. That is a rough paraphrase but accurate. What I intend to discuss is what the actions of Mrs. Clinton, and what Mr. Comey said about those actions, really mean. What does all this really mean for those of us living in 2016 America? It means that after 800 years of Western Civilization, a Civilization that lifted mankind from the dark ages and set him on an ascend…

Darrell Castle gives his thoughts on Brexit including the future of self government in the United States and the world. Transcript… Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s pod cast. Today is Friday July 1, 2016 and on today’s pod cast we are going to discuss the popular referendum (commonly known as Brexit) recently held in the United Kingdom in which the British people by a vote of 51.9% to 48.1% voted to leave the European Union. The vote was non binding of course, and Parliament has the final say but this was still perhaps the most significant referendum held in Europe in many, many years. As an anti-globalist and someone who values the independence of his own country, I took a special delight in the vote. The vote gave a sense of encouragement to independence minded people around the world. Finally we have a victory. Finally something we can point to and tell the self appointed elite intellectuals who run the world that there are more of us than there are of them. It was a…

Self Defense Is a Basic Human Right
Darrell Castle takes time while on the campaign trail to talk about the right of free people to defend themselves in light of the shooting in Orlando. Transcript… Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s pod cast. Today is Friday June 17, 2016 and on today’s pod cast we are going to be discussing the right of free people to defend themselves. By now we know about as much about what happened in Orlando as the government will allow us to know. The media will not actually conduct an investigation; instead it will just repeat the government’s version of the story over and over until enough of us accept it as the truth and condemn anyone who doesn’t believe it. I won’t repeat the media stories of the actual event then because I would rather examine the reaction to the event. President Obama took awhile to frame his response finally speaking to the nation at 2PM on the day after the attack. He said the shooting was being investigated as both as a hate crime and an act of terrori…

Why the U.S. Must Leave the U.N.
Darrell Castle gives his reasons why he believes the United States must immediately withdraw from the United Nations. Transcript Today I am going to give an account of why I believe the United States should withdraw from membership in the United Nations. As a presidential candidate, I have made this one of the cornerstones of my campaign. I’ve said that this is one of the first things that I would do if I were elected – to withdraw the United States from the United Nations. These are my thoughts on why that should be done. When the suggestion is made that the United States should regain its sovereignty and chart its own course, isolationism is usually the accusation. No one seriously maintains that the U.S. can remain isolated from the forces that agitate the world today, a world closely inter-related in trade, finance, instantaneous communications and so forth. The question is then how to deal with other nations while keeping our sovereignty, our freedom and our independence intac…
