You may have heard about toxic positivity. Toxic positivity is the belief that no matter how dire or difficult a situation is, people should maintain a positive mindset. It's a "good vibes only" approach to life.
If you look at social media they would have you believe that body positivity is about loving your body and thinking good things about it at all times. That you have gone from hating it to loving it and there is never an off day. The problem with that is we are not robots, we can’t only ever feel one way. We call that Toxic Body Positivity.
