Shouldn’t Good Friday Really Be Called Bad Friday?
Play • 1 min

In this episode, Pastor John talks about why Good Friday before Easter is not Bad Friday.

Shouldn’t Good Friday before Easter really be known as Bad Friday? After all, Jesus Christ was crucified on a wooden cross and died a horrific death. The answer is, “No.” Romans 8:28 (NIV) says, ”And we know that in ALL things God works for the good of those who LOVE him, who have been called according to his purpose." Jesus Christ was willing to die on the cross for YOU; THAT’S how much He loved YOU.

No matter what you have ever done

No matter what you have ever DONE bad, Jesus paid for ALL of it on the cross, and NOTHING (did you hear that word “Nothing”) can keep you from eternal life in Heaven OTHER THAN to deny Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If Jesus had not died on the cross and RISEN from the dead, then your faith would be worthless, and there would be no afterlife. Pray to invite Jesus Christ into your heart NOW, ask forgiveness for your sins, and proclaim Him your Lord and Savior. That’s why Good Friday is not Bad Friday.
