10 Feet Further with Aaron Lebowitz | Owner, Shaper of Elevated Surfcraft and Rad Dude
Episode 41 Dark Starts backcountry splitboarding podcast presents the man with the ‘stache - Aaron Lebowitz, owner of Elevated SurfCraft. * A surfer in the making, transplanted to Montana before hitting his prime. * Riding in Ja-pow with Alex, sold everything he had to bring back a powder board to the States with him. * Started making local powder boards for himself, and people wanted them. He really had no choice but to evolve his hobby into a Microboardery™. What a rad human! We were 100% captivated by Aaron as he took us through the awe of seeing his first snow, to learning how to make boards, turning it into a business and evolving the business model to focus on what he loves most - creating rad boards and riding them! We learned so much about gear that had a hard time speed-googling stuff. You might want to be online and have a credit card ready before you start listening to this episode. We had to slam off into this cliff wall, on the other side was like 400 feet of cliffs. Nearly got ran off the road and killed by Vladimir Putin himself.” - Cody Townsend Cody Townsend, a California beach kid from Santa Cruz who was the high school quarterback dating the head cheerleader while simultaneously winning the Junior Olympics Downhill ski race at 16 years old, and ended up becoming a legendary freeskier out of Lake Tahoe, California. Eating Healthy On The Boat
When I am fishing and shooting Saltwater Experience, one of the hardest things to do is eat consistently healthy. When you’re headed out on the water, it’s way too easy to just grab an unhealthy snack or something that you know will fill you up, but isn’t the best for you. In this episode I break down some tricks that I have found to help me stay consistent with my diet, even out on the water. I go over some key foods that I bring on the boat that are available in most grocery stores without being unhealthy. We also go over things to avoid. I hope that this helps you to make the most of your day on the water, without ruining your diet.
