Mikki Kendall is a writer, historian, and diversity consultant who writes about intersectionality, policing, gender, sexual assault, and other current events. Mikki’s work can be found in publications like The Guardian, Washington Post, Ebony, Essence, and Salon among others. Also, a writer of graphic novels, Mikki’s latest work, Amazons, Abolitionists, and Activists, is a graphic novel that illuminates the stories of notable women throughout history--from queens and freedom fighters to warriors and spies.
