Elise Mitchell Discusses The Therapist Support Network & Contracting with School Districts
Elise Mitchell, M.S., CCC-SLP graduated from Missouri State University in 2013 and has been providing telepractice in some capacity for 8 years as an SLP and as a manager. Through her experiences with teletherapy and provider management, she became passionate about giving providers access to an affordable material center. In 2019, she left her role in management and founded The Therapist Support Network (TSN) with a goal of providing therapists with intervention materials that are affordable, easy to access, and individualized. In 2021, Elise expanded The TSN by adding a 'School Contractor Packet' as an add-on for providers that want intervention materials AND materials needed to directly contract with schools.

Joan Green Discusses Innovative Speech Therapy & Technology Coaching
Joan L. Green, MA CCC-SLP, is a nationally known speech-language pathologist, assistive technology specialist, author, course creator, and presenter. After growing up in Buffalo, NY, she pursued her undergraduate and graduate education at Northwestern University in Illinois. She then worked in various hospital, rehabilitation, and home care settings in Virginia and Ohio before venturing out independently when she and her husband moved to Maryland. Over 30 years ago, Joan created Innovative Speech Therapy, a private practice in the Washington, DC, area with a mission to help children and adults with neurogenic and developmental communication, cognitive, literacy, productivity, and learning challenges.
Joan specializes in integrating everyday devices, smart assistants, apps, and accessibility features into engaging activities to help people overcome areas of challenge and maximize success. She offers local and online technology-based training, consultation, and coaching for professionals, schools, rehabilitation and educational programs, senior care providers, and families. She is also the creator of the TheyMayNotKnow.com webinar series and the administrator of the private IST Tech Savvy Solutions Facebook Group. Both were created to support families and professionals as they strive to learn to use technology to support communication and learning. Her most recent project is the creation of the ElderTech Advisor and Teacher Cohort.
In addition to providing individual and group sessions and online courses, Joan wrote and published 4 books. Her most recent book, Assistive Technology in Special Education. 3rd edition: Resources to Support Literacy, Communication, and Learning Differences was published by Prufrock Press in May 2018. She is now working on a book all about technology for seniors.

Keylonda Wheeler Shares Her Passions For Telepractice & Writing Children's Books
Keylonda Wheeler has always had a passion for helping others which inspired her to earn a degree in speech pathology. She enjoys supporting the pediatric population in the school setting and incorporating literacy and the arts into therapy sessions. In 2015, Keylonda was introduced to the telepractice setting and embraced the concept of using technology to "work smart and not hard"! More than 8,500 participants attended one-hour sessions, two-hour masterclasses, and poster sessions focused a range of communication disorders. Kathryn Mancewicz Discusses Literacy Intervention
Kathryn Mancewicz, MS, CCC-SLP is a bilingual speech-language pathologist and owner of Moving Forward Speech Therapy. Jill Shook Shares Telepractice Insights & Strategies
I am an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist and have provided speech-language therapy services through my private practice, Jill Shook Therapy, since 2015.
In 2017, I decided that I was tired of having to reinvent the wheel whenever I had a question about my practice, because I couldn’t afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a course, and nothing I found seemed to have the information listed out in steps.
I sat down to write out a “quick checklist” for other SLPs… and 10 months later had created my own 4-hour course that I called Private Practice Prep School. I posted it to Teachable. It spread quickly by word of mouth, and by the time I closed the doors in 2019, hundreds of SLPs had benefited from it.
I re-recorded the course and launched it via Northern Speech Services in 2019, so it could reach as many SLPs as possible. It’s now called Private Practice Essentials and offers 3.5 ASHA CEU’s.

Sue Ann Lee, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is a professor of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock TX. Sarah Wu is a speech-language pathologist based in the Chicago suburbs with over 15 years of experience. Dena Stephenson is a physical therapist and Director of Therapy Services at Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, Utah. She has been a physical therapist for 19 years and has worked in acute care hospitals, charter schools, outpatient clinics, home health and skilled nursing facilities. Alongside growing both these successful businesses, they also recently welcomed their firstborn son into the family in 2020. In his free time, he travels with loved ones and reads books regularly to learn more from the world. He also enjoys sports and being active.

Ebony Green Discusses Private Practice & Securing Contracts
Ebony Green, M.S., CCC-SLP has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northern Arizona University. She is the owner of CASA Speech Therapy, LLC and provides contracted teletherapy services in public schools and private schools. Ebony is the founder of SLP CEO Solutions, a business consulting company that provides online education and support to speech and OT professionals who are interested in working in special education as contracted providers. Ebony designed and developed her signature School Contracting Masterclass program in 2020 to help fill the gap between the need in schools for contracted special education service providers and the skills needed to successfully respond to requests for proposals during the contracting process. To date, Ebony has helped dozens of speech language pathologists learn about how to successfully bid on and obtain school contracts.
