About Our Guest

In addition to being a voiceover artist, Andrea is also an author, a singer, and a poet. Over the years, she has merged all of these skills and experiences into creating a voiceover career for herself. Andrea tells us about some of the other skills (besides having a nice voice) that are needed to be a successful voiceover artist, and why taking acting classes is important.

Please support our sponsor, Detroit Ink Publishing, which provides an entire suite of services to writers who want to become published authors.

What Our Guest Talked About

Later in the episode, Andrea discusses the importance of learning and applying the “business side” of being a voiceover artist. Andrea is based in Detroit Michigan, and she reminds us that today, because of the internet, it is not necessary to move to the east coast or west coast to have a successful voiceover artist career. But it is very necessary to learn how to market yourself and to work with an agent.
