There are three different workouts for this week. They are as follows:
Run 1: brisk 5-minute warm-up walk, then 5 minutes running, 3 minutes walking, 5 minutes running, 3 minutes walking, 5 minutes running.
Run 2: brisk 5-minute warm-up walk, then 8 minutes running, 5 minutes walking, 8 minutes running.
Run 3: brisk 5-minute warm-up walk, then 20 minutes running, with no walking.

Donald is a full professor of cognitive science at the University of California, the author of The Case Against Reality and Visual Intelligence, and the co-author of Observer Mechanics. Within his body of work, Donald studies how our visual perception, guided by millions of years of natural selection, generates every aspect of our so-called reality. Through his research, he has discovered important clues pointing to the subjective nature of reality, which can be best understood as a set of phenomena our brain constructs to guide our behavior. In other words, we actively create everything we see, and we see what we need to see to make sense of things and survive.  This is a truly mind-blowing conversation, so get ready to work your brain and challenge your perceptions at their very most fundamental. Today, I’m joined by one of Britain’s best loved actors - and part-time vaccine volunteer - Hugh Bonneville.  Hugh stars in a new film called To Olivia where he plays the celebrated author Roald Dahl. We talk about that later on in the interview - and he was just so lovely to chat to on a very rainy gloomy lockdown day. I’ve interviewed Hugh a few times in the past and he never fails to make me laugh. He’s travelled so extensively both through his work and through being a really keen traveller himself, so we cover a lot of ground.  He transports us to the deserts of Utah and to pockets of serenity among the chaos of India. We visit the pristine coves of the Costa Brava and the campsites of France. In this episode, we're discussing the role of positive psychological factors and the association of chronic pain with a specific emphasis on pain acceptance, pain self-efficacy and optimism. My expert guest is Dr. Javier Martínez-Calderón. Javier is a Spanish pain researcher and a physical therapist who completed a PhD in which he explored how psychological factors impact people with chronic shoulder pain. He's an assistant professor at the University of Granada in Spain and a pain researcher in the Biomedical Research Institute of Malaga. His postdoctoral research is focused on the role that cognitions and emotions play in people with chronic pain. In this episode, you'll learn all about the importance of positive psychological factors, and how they impact recovery for people with chronic pain with a specific emphasis on pain acceptance and pain self-efficacy.
