First and foremost Baker Boy Cakes confirms taste over design is always the priority. That said no design is off limits for this Cake Designer of the Year. Brian tells us of some of the more extreme designs such as melting cakes, swing cakes, up-side-down cakes. The more traditional designed buttercream icing, naked cake, chocolate shell, fondant icing and more are discussed.

The hours and intricate detail that goes into the designs of cakes, be it handmade flowers or custom requests give you an appreciation into the craft.

Cutting the cake is one of the biggest wedding traditions. When you plan on serving the cake can be impacted by what type of cake it is as well as when you think guests will best enjoy the cake.
