Kids Shooting Kids -- TWNow Episode_56
On February 14th, Nikolas Cruz walked into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Within minutes, seventeen people lay dead and seventeen more were wounded, in one of the world's deadliest school massacres. Over the following days, young people marched on Washington, politicians wrangled over what law to pass to fix the problem, and our nation grieved with the families. Tomorrow, on the anniversary of the 1999 Columbine High School massacre in Colorado, students at 2,500 schools across the country will walk out of school, demanding that lawmakers take action. What have we really done about it? And what can we do about it? Why are kids shooting kids?
In this week’s episode of TWNow, Jonathan McNair, Wallace Smith, and Gerald Weston discuss this difficult topic. How does all of this relate to your family? Is there a better way? You NEED to know!
