Is Mindset Really the Key?

In this episode, Nikki discusses how important mindset is in the pursuit of anything.  She shares stories from multiple people in her life that have made her believe mindset is the key.  She talks about her sister's battle with lupus, which led to her needing a heart and kidney transplant in her early 30s, and how doctors told her the average heart transplant patient only lives a few years after it.  Her sister was determined to enjoy more of her life though and lived for 26 and a half years after the transplant, because of her positive mindset.  Nikki also shares how she taught her kids her affirmation "my body is healthy and strong" and when her kids would get the stomach flu at school, they would be over it in 12 hours while other kids were out of school for two or three days.  Similarly, Nikki tells the story of how Joe Dispenza fought against all odds to walk again after getting hit by a truck going 55 miles per hour, and how he credits a lot of his success to removing negative people from his life who said he wouldn't be able to do it.  With many other stories, Nikki explains how health starts in your mind, and the more positive thoughts you feed to your mind, the more you don't have to be a victim of the world around you, instead, you can be whatever you want.
