S1 E4 Cortisol and Stress: is chronic stress causing your health issues?
Does stress affect your gut? What about your hormones? And what even is cortisol anyways? In this episode, Dr. Sarah takes a deep dive into the difference between an acute and chronic stress response. Cortisol, which is a hormone involved in the chronic stress response, has a wide range of actions from blood sugar support, to inflammation modulation, to energy provision.
