69: Donald Buckley | Voice Tech & Media: “Alexa, find me something to watch”
As former Chief Marketing Officer of Showtime Networks, Inc., Donald oversaw the marketing, distribution, and subscriber acquisition marketing, creative and digital media divisions, branding, promotions, media, CRM/analytics and operations, broadband, and emerging platform initiatives for the network that included Showtime, Showtime Sports, and Showtime Documentary Films. He created the marketing organization that launched Showtime’s streaming service in 2015, designed its strategic positioning, and helped to drive its subscriber growth well beyond launch projections. Prior to Showtime, Donald served as the SVP of Marketing and Digital for Warner Bros. Pictures creating the company’s first digital division while also co-founding Warner Bros. Online. Donald currently provides consultation to startups, programmers, agencies, analysts, and investors on topics ranging from OTT, SVOD, streaming media, Voice, media, and marketing.
